Christmas is in a few days and I'm still looking for a good gift idea for my dad! I have no idea what to give him! I've seen a few good ideas but they were just a bit too highly priced for me (if you know what I mean... :S) Up to about, let's say... 50$, what are you're gift ideas? I'm open minded and would love to hear your suggestions!

A. Well, does he have a favorite sports team? Get him a jersey or something unique from his favorite team. Does he need something like tools, clothes, etc. What's his job? Can he use something for his desk or briefcase? No matter what you get him, he will love it. You're his child and any gift that a parent receives from a child is priceless. Believe me. Have a blessed Christmas.
How closely related is Moroccan cuisine to Indian?
Q. I'm looking for gift ideas for my dad and was going to get him a Tagine and a Moroccan cookbook since he enjoys cooking so much but then I remembered that he's said a few times that he doesn't really like Indian food. So I'm wondering how similar they are as far as spices and such go.
A. They are not similar in taste at all. I am a big fan or Moroccan food, but I don't really like Indian food. Moroccan cuisine does use spices, like Indian cuisine, but does not use curry. The spices are usually cumin, paprika, or dried ginger, but are used quite sparingly as opposed to Indian cuisine, which uses more spices in higher amounts. Have your father try out a simple tagine (my favorite is lamb or beef with green beans) or even a cous cous.
Can anyone help me with present and gift ideas?
