top gift ideas for 7 year old boy

Q. Christmas is coming up soon, and I have nothing planned. I have no money, and no ideas. Last year, I spent $100 dollars on gifts, and my parents didn't even use the gifts or thank me. Now I have no money.
I have a month to find/make gifts. As I said, I don't have any money. I'm getting $10 for allowance at the end of the month so I can buy supplies to make gifts, and I can probably bribe my dad into giving me some.
Really cheap or homemade gift ideas for the following people:
1) My mom
2) My Dad
3) My Grandparents
4) My 12 year old cousin (girl)
5) My 8 year old cousin (boy)
6) My aunt
7) My uncle
And some gift ideas for my 4 best friends??? We are having a Christmas Party and of course there has to be gifts.

For adults, get some plastic spoons. Melt a package of chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet or dark - or do a few of each) in a double boiler. If you don't have a double boiler put a small pan into a larger pan, fill the larger pan with water almost up to the bottom of the smaller pan and bring it to a boil. Melt your chocolate in the smaller pan. Dip the spoons into the chocolate. Prop them up in the refrigerator in a sturdy glass or something until they cool. Wrap each spoon head individually with a little plastic wrap and tie a ribbon around each one. Give an assortment of each. If you have extra money go to your local resale shop (Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc.) and buy some cute coffee mugs. Present the spoons standing chocolate side up in the mugs. The chocolate can be used to flavor coffee, hot milk, chai tea, etc. by stirring it in when the liquid is hot.
For the 12 year old girl, make her some beaded bracelets. You can get the supplies fairly cheap at any craft store.
Go to the library and check out a book on origami. Make flying crane mobiles with colored paper, fishing line or thin cord and coat hangers.
Make drink coasters out of cds. Glue a little cork to the bottom (you can get it pre-cut in the picture hanger section of a hardware or diy lumber store). Decorate the top with cut out pictures that you glue on, or even just jumbles of colored tissue paper. Coat with either white glue or even better decopage glue (again in a craft store) if you can afford it. Or just leave the tops blank and shiny, for that matter. Another way to do this is to use CD cases - those clear or colored plastic square boxes, instead of the CD's themselves. That way you can glue pictures on the inside and not worry about the moisture from the drink wiping it off.
Give your nephew a "coupon" book he can cash in for guitar lessons from you.
Buy cheap mirrors, decorate the edges with ribbons, shells, etc. to make frames. Attach a ribbon hook on the back so they can be hung. Find a word that describes each of your friends. One might be "Beautiful", another "Fabulous", "Fun", etc. Pick a font for each on the computer and print out the word. Trace and then paint that word on each mirror. Maybe you'd better put the word on first because this might take a bit of experimentation. And use glass paint or it will wash off the first time they clean the mirror.
Make a calendar. You can get templates for free off of the internet. Print out pictures that remind you of your friends, or whoever you are making this for and decorate the calendars with the pictures.
Mark important dates - like the birthdays of your friends or family, school vacation start dates, etc. Designate one day a month as "Grandpa Day, everybody tell Grandpa you love him", "Mom Day, ggo all day without complaining", etc. You can actually do this for everybody except the 2 kids. Since you like to write, you could write captions on each picture, a small 4 line poem or a few words why that picture reminds you of the person, etc. Make each month remind the person why they are special. This will take a lot of computer ink printing the pictures, and a lot of time, but very little money.
Bottom line - it really IS the thought that counts - whether you buy or make, if the gift is something that tells the receiver they are special and loved, that's the most important part.

Dirt Cake
"Kids love dirt. Can be made in a large flower pot or 2 small flower pots."
INGREDIENTS:
1 (20 ounce) package
chocolate sandwich cookies
with creme filling
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream
cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 (3.9 ounce) packages instant
chocolate pudding mix
3 cups milk
1 (12 ounce) container frozen
whipped topping, thawed
15 gummi worms
DIRECTIONS:
1. Put the cookies in a food processor and process until they become fine crumbs. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine the butter or margarine, cream cheese, confectioners sugar and vanilla flavoring. Beat on low speed to mix then beat on medium speed until smooth. Add the chocolate pudding mix and milk to the bowl. Beat on low speed to combine.
3. Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture with a rubber spatula.
4. Assemble in the ungreased 9x13 inch pan in layers as follows: first layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs; second layer, 1/2 pudding mixture; third layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs; fifth layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs.
5. Tuck the ends of gummy worms in the cookie "dirt". Be sure to have a worm on each piece. Store in the refrigerator. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving. Cut into 15 squares, or serve with a clean garden trowel or a toy sand shovel if serving in the flower pot.

Blowing the perfect bubble depends on equal parts science and magic.
With a few twists of wire, you can make fantastic bubble wands and spend long, lazy days practicing your technique.
The best bubble solution is 10 cups water to 4 cups dish-washing liquid, plus 1 cup Karo corn syrup. For large wands, you’ll need plastic-coated wire coat hangers and either floral netting or plastic-coated chicken wire. Hold the hook at the top of the hanger, and pull the bottom down so that it forms a circle. Cut away the hook and twisted neck of the hanger with wire cutters; you should have about a 31-inch length of wire. With needle-nose pliers, twist a tiny hook into one end of the wire. Bend that end around, and hook it on the wire about 9 inches from the opposite end, forming a 7-inch-diameter circle. Squeeze the hook with pliers to fasten, and straighten the end to form a handle. Cut an 8-inch-diameter circle of floral netting. With pliers, fold the netting’s edge tightly around the frame, snipping off any sharp ends. For small wands, use 18-gauge cloth-covered wire cut to a length of 15 inches. Bend the wire into a lollipop shape, securing the end of the wire where the loop meets the handle with a dab of glue. To make a star, divide the circle into five even increments, then crimp with pliers. To make a heart, crimp only the top center of the circle. A tin can, with its top and bottom removed, also makes great bubbles-carefully trim any sharp edges, dip one end in solution, and pull through the air to make one long bubble.
