What are some good 25th Birthday gag gift ideas?

Kimberly E

My boyfriend is on a deployment and his 25th birthday was Sunday. I am putting together a gift box for him, and I need some gag gift ideas. Our friends who are on this deployment with him have told me to put things in that they can use to give him a hard time (all in good fun). The only things not allowed are drugs or alcohol.

Answer
you can write a 25th Birthday Poem, or give a name print, or a nice leather file bag

I have a wonderful, hardworking husband. He never asks for anything. In fact, when I ask him what he tells me to keep my money. Give me a great gift idea.

Answer
The one gift that everyone wants and no one has enough of is time. Give your husband time. Time with you, with the guys, with the kids, with the dog, whatever. Make plans for a weekend away just the two of you and concentrate on spoiling him all weekend. Book a room somewhere, locate a nice restaurant, plan the entire weekend and then give him a card with a date and time. Sometimes the best gifts are experiences. Give him a fishing expedition for two and send him off with his best friend for a weekend. Purchase a skydiving trip. Wrap up the brochure, or a card with an explanation, he will love that you took the time to think about what means the most to him. Sometimes to have something for a person to unwrap I give them a small representation of the experience. For example, if I was sending somone on a hunting trip I would wrap up a camo hat, or a fishing game for a fishing trip. Perhaps a sanddollar for a weekend at the coast, or a monky for a trip to the rainforest, an airplane for skydiving, there are a multitude of ideas. Concert tickets, theater tickets, membership to beer a month club, etc.

I hope my ideas help!

What food to show my American culture to a Chinese family?

liberty886

I will be going to China soon and I'm looking for ideas of what food to bring to show my American culture. I want it to be something they do not have in China, perhaps cookies, or chocolate? if you know of anything that is well loved in China but unavailable to them, that would be great! Other gift ideas are great too! THANKS!

Answer
If you want to cook something, I would avoid things like burgers and hotdogs because you will probably get laughed at. If you want to bring something in a box, then look for the kind of package that looks the best. I'm not kidding. Depending on what kind of family you're going to live in, they are most likely NOT going to like what you bring. There's no way around this. They may even tell you that they don't like it. To make the best impression however, you can get something with fancy packaging to present to the family. What's inside doesn't matter. Having lots of English writing on the package is another good idea.

Again, it depends on what kind of family you're staying in, but most people don't get the whole 'melting pot' thing here. You could bring something from whatever your "ancestral lands" is, but if you're going to any part of rural China, you will have a hard time explaining why you didn't bring something "American".

That being said, I think you brought up a good point about Chocolate. I don't know if you have a See's Candy shop where you are, but they have nice package and good chocolate, and they don't have that brand here.

You could also bring some kind fancy coffee or hot drinks like apple cider (non alcoholic). Most people don't drink coffee, but they will think it's cool to have American coffee. They will not have a coffee pot, so maybe a french press is good too.

American Whiskey or Bourbon is always a winner for males. Everyone drinks here, and outside of Jack Daniels or Jim Beam, you can't get any good whiskey here.

Oh, and cigarettes. Most men smoke here, so a carton of something American would win over the males of the family.

Do you have any nice gift ideas and ways to give them my contact info while I'm there?
I asked this to some Witness friends on Flickr that I know. I'm looking for any additional input. Thanks so much.
Thanks Tropicales for those very great ideas. We're assigned to Hawaii, at the end of November.
Thank you so much everyone! I'm gonna write these things down and try to do several different ones for variety.

Answer
We have been to three different International Conventions.

We have given -

Postcards with the name of our state - with colorful outside scenes.
Special made "business cards" with our photo and address, email, etc.
Very brightly colored "glitter" pencils with "luminous" erasers and mini pencil sharpeners
Fancy ink pens and markers
Little notebooks with pretty covers. Mini size.
Ties - put in baggies to protect for them.
Toiletries - mini size
Miniature paintings - found at Meijers for 50 cents.
Hankies tied to little spray colognes.
State quarters representing our state.

We have received -

Home made beaded necklace
Congregation photos
Bookmarks - paper and embroidered with verse
Little homemade address books - 2 inch squares
Home made candy - shaped as a "sheep"
Cookies in baggies with foreign language tract attached.
Homemade book cover for Examining the Scriptures
Home made greeting cards

One brother from the German Bethel gave us a whole page size picture reprint of a magazine illustration of Jesus and the little children on thick paper - one of my prized possessions.

One child from Ukraine gave me his figurine toy. Of course, I had to give him one of everything I had!

We are going to South Africa in December and I haven't gotten everything together yet, but I have been looking as I shop.

We got the "business cards" made at Office Max, and they did a beautiful job. They were 2 1/2 by 4. Picture on card was 1 1/2 by 2.

When we went to Ukraine, we were asked to bring extra food to pass out. So we packed a suitcase full of non-perishables that was suitable for lunches.

But those were for special instructions for a special assembly.

They are grateful for anything that will remind them of you and the special occasion.

What are some good homemade Christmas gifts?

I'm running low on money this year, so I decided to try and make gifts for people. I'm looking for gift ideas for my friends and my mom and dad. I'm 15 so it can't be anything to childish, but it has to be something I can actually do by Christmas. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Answer
Make a laminated bookmark: find pictures or photos that they would like - animals, sports, flowers, favorite band, hearts, cars, pictures of family or you two - it can be a few small pics or just one, glue it to construction paper (you can make it two-sided), make sure you know how wide you want it to be before you start with the glue, then take it to Staples/Office Max, Office Depot or a store like that and get it laminated, then cut it. After hole-punch the top and put a ribbon or twine of some kind through the hole and tie it in a knot.

Make a 'love jar' and fill it with origami hearts, flowers and slips of paper with notes of appreciation written on them or 'I love you' written in different languages (on the back write which language it is).

Say I love you in different languages

Use an empty jar or soup can to make a pen/pencil holders - take the label off and wrap them in fabric or colored paper and decorate them with pictures the two of you or other pictures they would like.

Quick Banana Chocolate Chip Bars

1 Medium Ripe Banana, peeled
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
¾ Cup Brown Sugar, packed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray small rectangular or 9x9 square baking pan with non-stick spray.

Chop or mash banana. Combine with flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, oil, milk, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips to this mixture OR save them to add as topping, sprinkling on top of mixture after poured into the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Isabellas (Oatmeal Cookies)

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups oats

Sprinkle with Powdered Sugar

Jumbles

3 large bananas, mashed
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped dates
1/3 cup oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients, let set 15 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Spicy Oatmeal Crisps
Pepper may sound like an odd ingredient for a cookie, but it complements the other spices well (although you can omit it if you prefer).
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon ground allspice
½ teaspoon grated whole nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (optional)
1 cup packed brown sugar
5 tablespoons butter or stick margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
½ cup regular oats
Cooking spray

Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flour and next 7 ingredients (flour through pepper) in a medium bowl. Beat sugar, butter, and vanilla in a large bowl with a mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg; beat well. Stir in flour mixture and oats.

Drop by level tablespoons 2 inches apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes or until crisp. Cool on pan 2 to 3 minutes or until firm. Remove cookies from pan; cool on wire racks.

I dont mind going to Orgeon as well...

Answer
Dinner in the space needle is always lovely and something to experience. Right around there are fun museums and even an amusement park which could be fun and romantic. You two could pick up lunch at Pike's Place Market (bread, cheese, wine, flowers even!!) and then go have lunch in a park on the water (I recommend Myrtle Edwards Park - that's where my fiance proposed to me!). A ferry ride, all snuggled up together. They even have dinner cruises on the Puget sound which are amazing!!

As for gifts...there really are endless possibilities. I think it is always nice to get someone something they love but may think too extravagant or unnecessary to get themselves (gifts should be frivolous!) What does she like to do and go from there! (Ex. Does she love to cook, do a joint cooking class - romantic and soooo sweet)

A co-worker is retiring in a month. We are in a non-musical related field. However, music is her first passion and in her retirement years, she is looking forward to getting back in touch with the music aspect of her life. She's a brilliant piano player and has a master's degree in pipe organ performance. Any suggestions on a retirement gift that some other fellow co-workers and I could get for her? I thought it would be good for the gift to be music related since she's looking forward to re-engaging with something she's held off for awhile.

Is this a lame gift idea for my girlfriend?

Sawyer P

My girlfriend and I have been together for over five years. I have given her many pieces of jewelry as well as other common and not so common gift ideas. We have been doing it long distance for the last 1.5 years which kind of plays into the theme of the gift I was thinking of giving her for xmas this year. The gift is a personalized throw pillow on one side it is a cute picture of both of my dogs on my family's boat with their tiny dog life preservers on. On the back it is a good picture of us both on a trip Cancun this Summer, in text underneath it says "Cancun, 2012" and centered underneath that "I love you". The pillow is a light pink color that fits in with the color of her bed. I was thinking this would be nice since we do not currently live together as it has pictures of both us together and my dogs that she loves. I am worried however that this is a lame gift... I am also planning on getting her some chocolates or something along those lines and obviously a card.

What do you think, lame idea or a nice idea?

Answer
No, that is not a lame idea. That is a great gift. I think your girlfriend is going to be very happy.

Any ideas for an 80th birthday party celebration?

Dave R

I need help on gift ideas, and unique decorating, etc. It's my mom's birthday and we have rented a room at a resturant. What do you thonk of pictures of my mom during different satges - little girl, teen, wedding, etc? Thanks for all answers.

Answer
a picture board is a great idea- I did one for my moms 60th party and she had a great time showing off her pics to everyone! Go get one of those tri-fold display boards and put tons of pics of her throughout the years on it- or you can make a slide show and play it on someones laptop computer- whichever works better for you. For decorating I just used my moms favorite colors- pink, purple, and silver accents- we had fake flower petals scattered down the center of the tables and a set of pretty candles next to a vase of lillies. I also found small travel candles for 50 cents and had one of those at each table setting as a party favor for the guests. We had balloon arrangements all over the room and hung streamers and some birthday banners too. I had also found on Ebay a book all about the year she was born and we had that on the picture table so people could look through that also and I found a Life magazine from th week she was born on there too (I gave that as a gift to her and she loved it).
so as far as decorations- go with something that you think she would like, maybe vases of her favorite flowers all over, or make it a theme relating to her favorite hobby and decorate along those lines (gardening, bingo, quilting- whatever!) This is a good time also to get some family pictures taken so make sure to gather up the whole group before people start to leave to get some good family shots.

I'm doing a little bit of Christmas shopping and I'm just completely lost as to what I should buy as a gift for my boyfriend this Christmas. He's 27 years old, we've been together about a year. He likes sports but isn't a huge fan. Enjoys video games like world of warcraft. i was thinking a jersey for his favorite team but someone else is already getting that for him. Anyone have any fun creative gift ideas?

The first year I got my boyfriend silky boxers, a couple nice shirts, and a wallet. Last year I got him an iHome, and more boxers (they became like a tradition after the first year). Just go with things that you KNOW he will use.

I am meeting my girlfriend's parents for the first time in under two weeks. I'm not a 'youngin', so I have been down this road before, but 20+ years ago.

What are other gift ideas beyond wine and flowers? For further refinement, we are meeting for dinner in a restaurant.

Answer
Hey I think you can get them something practical yet personal. For the mom, you can get her a nice pair of gloves. I recommend you check out KinaRosa on Etsy ( http://www.etsy.com/shop/kinarosa ) These gloves are handmade, very high quality. They are unique yet affordable. My mom loves the gloves. I am sure it'll be a great gift for your girlfriend's mom since it's winter time. If you are not sure what color to buy, go for black, chocolate brown or burgundy red. They are safe colors that every woman loves.

For the dad, do you know what he likes? I think it's always good to go for more practical gifts for men. If he like cigars, you can buy him a nice box of cigars. If he like coffee, get him some good coffee beans. If you really don't know what he likes, you can get him a nice pen. My dad likes pens from Cross. They are not too expensive, but they are good pens.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your gift searching!

Answer
I don't know if my ideas will be a perfect match; I hope they'll help you out:

Collect your favorite photos of him while he was serving and put them in a nice album or create a slide show using your computer, put the slide show on a thumb drive.

Choose a favorite photo and have it put on a plaque with a poem or your retirement wishes.

Gift certificate for a charter fishing trip

A new lap top case or briefcase

A nice dress watch

Luggage that will fit in airline overhead storage

You and your son have my best wishes and thanks!

Problem with the expectations from grandmother and uncle?

Bujji

Hi,
This problem has a background story. My father came from rural Indian village where we follow traditional family values. He is the elder son and hence takes over the all my grandfather responsibilities and to raise my father brothers and help to settle down in their lives. He used to help grandmothers family and one of my father's brother family who has not settled well economically. At one point of time he reduced monetarily help to them because of our career and future.

Now I am the eldest son in my family. I was pampered by all of my family members including my father brothers and grand fathers family. As they are not settled well and I have little soft corner them. Hence when I started earning I also used to help them monetarily in small quantities. How ever now I have well settled in life and career and now they are expecting to help more and continuously. This is not because of need, but because of their greed. I really want to help them as I can if they are in need, But I don't want encourage their greed, and I don't want to help then because of their greed. How can I do that? Any ideas suggestions, please share with me.
Additional Details here,
My parents don't like me to help them and my father warned me dont encourage that kind of expectation.
My father also warned seriously my uncle and my grandmother dont involve me into their problems as I have my own life
Even after with soft corner, and feel like it is good karma, I have been helping them till now. Now it yields greed in them.

Answer
Is your father still alive. If so and if you have a good relationship, discuss it with him. Your main responsibility is to your wife and your own children. If you do not have those yet, keep some savings so that you can do well. You might set a portion of your income, say 5% or maybe a bit more, whatever you can comfortably spare, to help family members. Certainly, the amount of help needs to be based on their needs.

Helping those who can help themselves is not good for them. In other words, money should come with strings. You might pay something for them or buy something for them instead of giving them money. For example, you might pay some school tuition for a younger relative or perhaps send food or other necessities for the old ones. Give gifts, not cash.

Understand that the older family members will expect more. The younger ones are likely less traditional. Also I think you know that some family members may not like it if you give them less. Prepare yourself for that and do what you feel is right.

Sometimes it is difficult for people to change old habits. Do help the elderly relatives if you can and they need it. The younger ones need to learn to stand on their own two feet if they can. Of course, you are setting a new tradition here. You cannot expect those younger ones to help you when you are old. The world has changed. Not always for the better but one man can't fight it.
Plan now for your own security later. Start a retirement plan now. Have money saved if you do lose your job or if you get sick or have other things happen.
Also, help the others in your family learn

Bless you for caring! I think you have a good heart. Love them but remember your first responsibility is to yourself. You don't want to have to depend on others for help.

Answer
How about a "Movie Theater" gift basket. You could purchase a new release, enclose 2 or 3 bags of microwaveable popcorn, a 2 liter of coke, a package of twislers or a couple boxes of movie sized candy....Instead of getting a basket get a large popcorn bowl to put all the items in. Its something that either a guy or girl can enjoy. My family has received them several times and we've always enjoyed it.

What activities to organise for annual dinner and how to do a gift exchange?

roselina_r

We had an auction last year and as for the gift exchange we had something call secret santa whereby the receiver of the gift do not know who is the gift from.Kindly help me out suggesting something different from last year. Thank you so much.

Answer
Just please DO NOT do that gift exchange when people have numbers and you can pick from either a wrapped gift under the tree or take a gift from a coworker. I've had soo many jobs do that. All it does it make people feel insecure when their gift isn't traded 5 times. Or people get pissed when they open a great gift early b/c they aren't going to get it in the end. In a group of 20, only one person goes home happy. Everyone else wishes they had those 2 hours back.

Plus I've had it happen once where we got to pick 3 different numbers so that everyone would have two chances to steal a gift. Problem was that several of us ended up with low numbers and went home with no gift at all. Yeah. That sucked.

Also don't make things unisex. Most gifts appeal to either a man or a woman.

If you are going to allow gag gifts, make that the rule. All gifts must be under $15 and must be humorous. Or make a no gag gift rule. Between $10 and $20 and no gag gifts at all.

I like Secret Santa as long as you know each other. I hate buying gifts for people I don't know at all and have never met. Especially if the person in charge doesn't help at all. If you are going to run a secret santa, have every participant fill out a survey. The survey can change to different things. If you had any job, what would be your ideal job? What do you need for this job? This can allow a person to describe how they enjoy gardening, camping, or knitting. Include Things You have enough of (please no more bath products), favorite scent, favorite restaurant, favorite store. That way people can at least make an effort to Santa something they would like.

We did a 2 round Secret Santa. You pick a name. Go get the survey and get them a gift. Then check off the question that you got (for example--check off Favorite Scent). Put survey back. Then draw names and do it again. That also gives you the opportunity to regift that 1st round gift.

My sister's company did a Christmas ornament exchange. It was great b/c no one had expectations. Everyone just got a simple ornament and hung it on the tree. Make sure you do not have non-Christians in the office when starting this tradition.

I think the best idea is a gift card exchange. Everyone bring a $20 gift card to different places. Then you can pick a new card or switch with someone else. You can only be stolen from twice. Everyone gets a gift card. Everyone will be happy with getting to pick something out at Best Buy, PetSmart, Target, etc.

Best alcohol to give as a wedding gift?

Hallie

I'm looking for a gift for a friend of ours, we already threw the grooms bachelor party so we are thinking of something more sentimental. I really like to idea of a bottle of wine and a strict rules not to open it until they are celebrating their 5th or 10th anniversary. Unfortunately I don't think they either of them will drink wine. The only think I know they will drink is vodka, and that isn't the kind of alcohol that people age and gets better with time, kind of resembling their marriage...? What might be some other options that are good to sip on their own, that most people find enjoyable to drink? I'm also trying to veer away from champagne I have a feeling they would forget that it doesn't freeze well, and I can see them trying to freeze it. Wine might be okay, maybe as long as its not a red wine, I just don't know much about wines besides merlots. Which I could never see them drinking, ever.

Answer
You should go with a liquor that is aged -for example ::
Twelve year old scotch (ex:Glen Fiddich)
Ten year old vodka (ex: Starka)
Now obviously it's not going to age anymore in the bottle and that being said its also not going to go bad if it sits on a shelf unopened for ten years.. So it could also sort of be catchy to tell them don't open this ten year until ur tenth year or something like that you can probably think of something better but u get my point..

Or you can go with wine But remember most white wines are meant for early drinking with in about two years... Now obviously there are always exceptions ..but u should really go with a red if ur going to do an aged/ ageing wine

What are some masculine things to put into a pinata?

Ericka

My husband is planning a friend's bachelor party. The one request from the bride is that he have a pinata (. . . ) because he's never had one before. We fashioned a pinata to look like a Patron bottle, the groom's alcohol of choice, but past 50mL's and beef jerky, we're at loss as to what to put in it. Any brilliant ideas?

Answer
travel-size shaving cream, cologne, deoderant, etc.
metal key chains
condoms, sensation lotions
small 5-hour energy drinks
lottery tickets, playing cards
swiss army knives, tape measures, tools
iTunes or fast food gift cards
small toy metal cars (fancy ones)
wrapped lighters
golf balls, tees
combs, candy
bottle openers

Weve known each other since 9th grad in high school, were both 20 now. We always liked each other as friends but always wonder the thought of actually dating. She has a 2 yr old toddler from another guy which is fine to me im not shallow. Anyway is there any ideas on what i can get her/ and her son for christmas? Like if anyone suggests gift cards where would be a good place for a mom or just something for her an something seperate for the son. Thanks alot.

Answer
you could get her a department store gift certifc, so she can buy some nice clothes. you can get her a restaurant certificate for her and her little toddler. yes, gift card seems very nice, just wrap it in a nice sweet little box. :-) and maybe u can put a nice little card in there.

and then maybe for the toddler u can get a sweater or a nice little pair of pants.

merry christmas :-)
good luck ;-)

What would a 13 yr. old girl like for Christmas?

Rotten

A woman at work had her husband just abandon her and her two children, ages 9 and 13. A couple of us are buying gifts for the kids... I have some ideas for the 9 yr. old boy, but what do 13 year old girls like these days? I have absolutely no information about her other than her age, and don't want to ask the mother what the little girl would like, for fear that she'd be embarrassed about her situation...we're not really supposed to even know about the husband leaving! Help!!

Answer
What lovely work mates you are so thoughtful.

Thinking of a list don't expect you to be buying them all just some ideas:-

Hair products
perfume
make-up
necklace/chain
watch
clothes
bath products
smelly's
socks
slippers
nightwear

I think she a bit old for high school musical stuff

Just some things my 13yr got on her list for Christmas

Hope my friend would be like you lot if anything happened to my marriage

My best friend in the whole world is turning 14 in a bit. She recently lost her mom and I want to get her something AMAZING! But Im the kind of person who doesnt give presents easily. I want a good gift idea for someone like her and a unique way to give it to her. Thanks!

Answer
I don't know if this is in with young teens these days, but when I was around that age I know Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul was a really great book to read through tough times. It covers a lot of topics and issues that teenagers face including death and many other things. So even after coping with her loss she can reference back to the book to deal with things such as puberty, dating, peer pressure, stress of school, family, friends... I mean just lots of things you go through at that age. I strongly beleive that this book might help her. There are also more version of the book each starting with "chicken soup for the(insert specific topic here)" but I would say go with chicken soup for the teenage soul. It'll be perfect for her.

Q. I am going to japan in june/july for 11 days i am going to stay with a host family which may or may not have kids of any age so even though it isn't a long trip i want to bring enough to make a good impression. i'm looking for gift ideas for men, women, teens, children, and people i meet. I live in CA near San Francisco and and have already heard about touristy things like magnets and post cards. i'm look for creative things that would be fun for someone to get

Answer
Dude, Japanese people in my experience love their merchandise. You live in an iconic area so I'm sure you can get something reflective of where you live. Caps, shirts(can be dangerous as you don't know their size), calenders or even images of where you live. You could try some 49ers merchandise. Japanese also love icons of the world so maybe a model of the golden gate bridge may be ideal or a snow globe of it.
I'm going to stay at a host family too and from Australia. Bringing boomerangs, koala pushes and wombat in a can(it's just a stuffed wombat in soup can, just bringing some Aussie humor).

What are some gift ideas for meeting my girlfriend's parents for first time?

SeanB

What kind of visa we have to produce to start a business in USA?

aarkay gro

We are planning to open business in USA
in New York ( exporting T-shirts & corporate gifts from India)
for that we would like to know the US Govt rules to open a business in USA,
Sales tax percentage, process of payment transaction from US to India,
Details of rental agreements or premises in USA

Business related visa issues
What kind of visa we have to produce to start a business in USA?
Time Period required to get visa?
Validity of visa for the business?

Answer
You are likely in for more legal expenses and hassles than you'll ever make in profits. You'll need an immigration lawyer and an international tax lawyer just to get started.

Better idea: Find a small USA business or distributer that will take your products on consignment and sell them within the USA.

He is my good friend's husband. It is his 40th birthday party on Saturday. I have no clue what to get for his gift. He does not drink or smoke, lives a comfortable life, and is employed as a wholesale fitness equipment sales manager.
Any good ideas for a gift....gag gift or serious.
I welcome all suggestions.

Answer
How about the movie; '40 yr old virgin'. That ought to get a laugh.

What should I get my mom for her birthday?

Brianna767

Her 40th birthday is Friday and I'm throwing her a party. She is probably the hardest person in the world to shop for! She doesn't really wear jewelry and she is so picky! Any ideas?

Answer
Get her a hefty gift card for her favorite store or stores--or expensive restaurant. Then she can buy what she wants. So that it doesn't sound like a thoughtless gift, write her a note to go with the card saying something like, "I know how much you enjoy __________ (reading, eating out with your friends, photography, shoes, whatever), and I want to imagine you spending all the time you want to spend looking at everything in the store/on the menu, and then carefully making your selections. It will be a joy to know that you can take your time, savor the moment, and come away with not only the things you love but also an experience you will remember."

If that doesn't fit with your plans, how about tickets to a theatrical performance, sports contest, or other event coming up that you think she'd want to attend?
