What are some small gifts for a 7 yr. old boy to open on a long trip?

Q. I am his Grandma and will be riding in the back seat with him. He loves math and science, especially meteorology. I would like something for him to pick out of the bag every hr. Even 1 idea will be appreciated.

A. My daughter loves the math and reading fisher price workbooks
Small helicopter or motor cycle
I spy, look and find, or wheres waldo books
Binoculars to spy stuff along the road
Treasure find game where you have to spot like stop signs or the letter z or a green car
Etch and sketch
You can get any of those things at Walmart for very little money and they are fun the treasure hunt you could make yourself

How can i be with my boyfriend when he lives ina different country and im 15?
Q. Im 15 and i live in england and my boyfriend is 17 and he lives in new zealand i want to go and live there after i have finished all my GCSE's i will be 16 when i have finished them all but i dont know how i can live there at 16 years of age does any one have any ideas ?

A. Wow much respect for trying hard for such a long distance relationship, mine failed. :-z
My advice is that you are quite young to be moving on your own such a far way from home and so is he at that age too. Moving for love is such a big decision in your life and quite frankly you are way too young for drama like that but I can see why you want to do it as I have been in the same situation before too except my gf (now ex) lives on the other side of the country. When we are this young we do things without thinking long and hard about it, like now you want to just be with him no matter what you have to do for it. In the long run, once you move here or he moves there are you both going to be happy together in 6 months after that?? Teenagers have much to learn, myself included and from what I have learn't it might not be such a good idea because there is going to be more to life than that. If you want to be this guy, fine my advice is don't move just yet wait at least you both are 18 and abit more mature adults as if you are still together and want to move to be with eachother it will be easier then. For now take advantage of technology with webchat, webcams, emails and even hand written letters and gifts in the mail. Hope all works well whatever you decide. Good Luck!

What should I draw for my grandma on a Christmas card?
Q. She's pretty religious but I can of course draw her anything I want from angels to animals.
Almost every year I draw her a Christmas tree with angels surrounding it because that's what my father suggests but I need to draw something new - I just can't think of anything, no matter how many Christmas images I look up!
She doesn't understand English very well so that's why I never write her anything; drawings are easier. I was thinking of doing more animals this year. What should I do - any ideas? Thanks.

A. I agree, reindeers are pretty "christmasy".

Here're some cute images I found of Santa with some animals :

If your grandmother lives in the countryside, or on a farm, you can include all the farm animals in the drawing. You can have Them celebrating or participating in the Christmas celebrations. Maybe wearing a Santa's red & white hat, with a stocking for each hanging in the background, & gifts for all.

Or you could have a bunch of cute animals/pets, wearing santa hats, in a sled.

Hope these help too :-)

Any ideas for a homemade gift for my boyfriend?
Q. I want it to be different and cute. Not the typical romantic gifts. Something a bit weird :)
its his birthday, not valentine.

A. 1) Buy a cute wee box and heart shaped ice cube tray and melt chocolate and make your own heart shaped chocolates and on each one you could use melted white chocolate to spell something?
2) Make an "ABC Memory book" which is just a book with a memory for each letter a-z
3) Sew lots of different squares of fabric together to make a blanket for you two to used while you watch dvds?
4) wrap a shoe box with really nice wrapping paper and fill it with a present for each year of his age eg 17 presents if he's 17 (I wrapped it with brown paper and tied a bow round it with string so it looked cute)

Hope I've helped :)
