What should I get my sisters and their boyfriends for xmas?

Q. I have 2 sister, one is 22 and the other is 24. They both have boyfriends they've been with for a number of years. I usually get 4 separate gifts for them for xmas. This year I'd like to get them combined gifts, one gift for each couple. Remember these are for my sisters and their boyfriends - not just friends of mine, so no "romantic" couples gift ideas please! haha

Q. Times are not as good as they usually are this year. Does anyone have great gift ideas that cost little money? I have a large family. Serious answers please :)

A. what about a family tree dvd. copy it and give each member a copy to add their own family to it. i got one of these from an uncle some years ago. he put it together using old photos. starting from my great grandparents up to my youngest cousin. now i have to add my family to my copy and pass it on when the time is right. cheap to do. just collect all the photos you can and tell people you will return them, but dont tell them what they are for. then surprise them when everyone is together at chrimbo. if you can, copy it for them, if not they will be delighted to wait till after xmas.

Both of my grandmother's are up there in age and they both live with family members (in family members homes)- so they often say they don't need anything, etc. However, I cannot not get them anything for xmas- they are my grandmothers (I have to get them something). What would be a good gift idea for them? Any suggestions are welcomed based on thoughts or experience. Thank you.

A. I would either give them cash, or a gift certificate at their favorite hair salon or store. It always gives someone a lift if they have their own cash on them for personal items. You could also take them out for lunch or somewhere they like to go, even a movie.
Good luck and a thank God you still have them with you. Please listen to them and learn about your past or favorite recipes. I regret not asking my grandmas more about their past.

Q. He's in his 50s, doesn't usually spend xmas with us, so I don't know. He's retired, lives in a camper by himself, doesn't have a tv, computer, or cellphone (and doesn't want them). This description makes him sound like a weirdo, but he's actually a cool guy. Any gift ideas for an outdoorsy type?

A. It's better to present him with a clock or a thermal wear that may be useful for him.
