What should I put as a personal engraving on a picture frame containing wedding photos for my dad?
Q. My fiance wants to give our parents picture frames as gifts on our wedding day. We both have divorced parents, so 4 frames will be given. The frames contain room for two photos, one from the wedding day and one of me as a boy. The frame can be personally engraved, but all the ideas we come up with just sound kind of silly for a picture frame being given to the old man. Anyone have any ideas?

Q. I need some good gift ideas for men - stuff that any man would like. Just as you can almost always buy bath stuff for women or gift cert to clothes store, what kinds of generic gifts do men like? I'm talking men in the 40+ year old age range. I already have stuff like gift cert to home depot, microbrewery samples etc. Ok guys out there - what kind of generic gift would YOU like to receive? Please try to keep ideas in the $20-$50 range.
A. Cologne, nail care kit, pajama pants, gift card to Total Wine and More(or some other upscale alcohol beverage store). I think I would try to stay away from the gift card thing though because it seems like you put less thought into it. Most men love getting manicures even though they don't like to admit it. And pajamas are always a safe way to go and you can get a good brand for under 50 dollars. You can get a great nail care kit for under 50 dollars and every man is diligent about taking care of there nails. Good luck!

A. I think a Christmas ornament would be a wonderful idea. They could put it on the tree every year and remember you when they do! And you can get nice ones in your price range.
Food is always a good thing. You could make a small gift basket with chocolates or maybe a jar of gourmet pasta sauce and some nice pasta?
As far as gender-appropriate ones, for the lady, perhaps a nice little throw blanket? You can usually get those pretty cheap. Other options might be a bottle of nice-smelling lotion (not anything too strong), a pretty compact mirror she could keep in her purse, a manicure kit, or a photo frame
For the man, maybe a tie, some after shave, or a wallet
