What is the best gift to a girl friend?
Q. Ok now im going to meet my girl friend soon after very long time. I like to surprise her with a gift. Ideas for the gift pls. I like it to be small coz she should not have any ideas or guess that ill gift her something and not too expensive also coz i cant afford it now.

A. Sports Gear

If sports rule your boyfriend's life, you might want to find out what his favorite sports and teams are and get him something that fits into that category. For example, your guy might be really into baseball, so getting him a baseball hat might seem like a great idea, but if he's a Boston Red Sox fan, you want to make sure you don't buy him a New York Yankees hat. Or, if he's a hockey fan, getting a basketball jersey might not be the best idea. Look at what he wears, or talk to his friends about his sports likes and dislikes.
Video Games

If your boyfriend is a gamer, there might be no better gift than a video game he doesn't have yet. If there is a big release coming up near his birthday, reserve the game early and let him know (this way, he doesn't buy it himself). Or, if you know there is a big release in the future, reserve it on his birthday, and then give him the gift when the game comes out. If money is an object, many game systems come with a "Best Of" series, which usually runs about $20 cheaper than normally priced video games. These games are a bit older, but they are a good way to get a recent game for a low price.
Music Lovers

If he is into music and always seems to be on his MP3 player, you may want to focus on this aspect of his personality. Think about purchasing some nice headphones for him to listen to his music on. There are some nice sound-dampening earphones that won't cost too much. If he has a favorite style of music, put together a mix CD with songs you think he might like. If you are doing this, try to put some songs he might not have heard or bands he doesn't normally listen to.

Or a Guitar :)
Good Luck!

What does a 30 Year Old Male Accountant want for Christmas?
Q. He is a laid back kind of guy. He's 30, an accountant, not into electronics or video games, and he hates getting clothes for christmas. As far as hobbies go he loves to read, he plays soccer and ping pong and watches basketball. I thought about getting him a ping pong table but i think he just enjoys the ambiance of the billiards pub. The only other option i can think of is getting him books but that just seems very lame. If anyone can give me some ideas i'd greatly appreciate it.

A. Just thinking out loud here so bear with me. Going on what you said, he likes figuring things out (accountant), and he enjoys his sports largely for the comradery and atmosphere as much as the sport itself. So the table, as you said, may not be the best idea. Here's what I would do...

Get some heavy cardboard, and mold it around a decent sized book so that it holds the shape, and is around the same size. Now get a stack of printing paper that would fit inside the cardboard you molded to make the illusion of a book. Take half of that paper and cut out the center portion so it makes a hollow cavity when stacked.

Take the rest of the paper and place half on one side of the "book" cover cardboard and paste it together, and half on the other. Paste the paper with the center cut out on one side or the other (or even on both sides). The idea here is to make the illusion of a book, that when opened reveals the contents.

Buy a nice Table Tennis paddle, and put it in the empty space in the "book", along with a gift card to a local book store. Before closing the fake book stuff it with tissue paper so no mater how hard he shakes it, it still seems like just a book.

Once wrapped he will have no idea, and think it is a book. I can't imagine anyone that wouldn't enjoy the surprise.

Alternatively you could select a book you know he will hate, and do the same thing. Most book lover's don't like to see a book cut apart though.

EDIT-just make sure you let the paste dry before closing it entirely. Just a dot or two of paste will do. It doesn't have to withstand more than a few shakes while wrapped.

What are some gift ideas from around the world?
Q. One of my best friends birthday is coming up within the next couple of weeks. I have always given her lame presents, but this year I want to go all out. My theme is "around the world". I would like to give her gifts that represent countries from around the world. For example, Swedish fish from "Sweden". If you have ANY ideas please let me know! The gift doesn't necessarily have to have a literal correlation with the country, cute & sassy ideas are welcome and encouraged:)
