ideas for mixing sunflowers and hunters camo in a wedding?

Q. I am planning a wedding and i am incorporating sunflowers and hunters camo. I need ideas for all aspects of the wedding. Anything creative is welcome. I need ideas for centerpieces, for decor in the ceremony, etc.
Me and my fiance both love camo. I love sunflowers and i want to incorporate them into the theme. I want to incorporate other wildflowers also and not overdue the camo. My theme is rustic or country, so it will not be completely camo or completely sunflowers. Just a rustic wedding, using these elements as accents.

A. you can use camo netting to create an arbor to get married under...sort of like the way people use white tulle. or use it to make garlands with twinkle lights in it to string about.

empty gunshot shell casings make interesing party favor holders. fill with mints or m&m's and tie a camo ribbon on them.

candles wrapped with camo tape can make nice decorations. use pillar candles of various sizes and wrap them with camo tape and set them about in groups of odd numbers.

for your centerpieces, you can use camo gift bags and weight them down with rocks or something and put your flowers in them. wild flowers like queen annes lace or cornflowers or tiger lilies that grow on the road side would be great....or even a combo of all three or whatever wild flowers grow in your area. set a mason jar of water in the middle of the bag for keeping them fresh.

here are some other ideas. http://www.wedding-flowers-and-reception-ideas.com/camo-wedding-decor.html

Does any1 have any good Christmas or regular cookie recipes for gifts ideas? Cookie recipes in a pretty jar?
Q. I been looking at different ideas on line something and seen some good recipes but I like some i need pictures too. Something like this http://www.designswithheart.net/images/MnM_cookie_mixes_1.jpg

I want something simple but looks fancy and creative! Please help! Thanks!

A. When it comes to making cookies and giving them as a gift anytime really is appreciated more than you will ever know. A gift that is handmade and from the heart is something much more preciou than a gift you might have just run in the store and grabbed. Homemade gifts always say, "I think alot of you and so I made you something extra special" that is the best you could ever do for friends and even family. A nice way to give the homemade gift is to even bake just an assortment of different simple cookies that everyone likes but doesn't have the time to make or just can't bake for some reason or another! Like me I'm disabled and to get some homemade cookies at Christmas would be a joy to me more than a gift from the store. Alot of people forget about the elderly or shut-ins and they are the ones that would appreciate it the most. Try going to a nursing home even and just pass the cookies around if you can't afford to make alot of small jars, that would bring so much joy and tears even to many that are forgotten at the holidays! One good recipe that everyone in my family used to love when I made them was the wedding cookies. They are delicious and easy to make and look festive too with the powdered sugar on them. Almost any cookbook has this recipe if you look, they even may be called Hazelnut Balls or Mexican Wedding cookies. They are small balls of dough with pecans or walnuts in them, you make them about 20 min. and then while still HOT roll them in powered sugar. I hope you will try these and enjoy making and giving them as gifts too! Good luck, happy baking and the merriest of holidays to you alittle early!

A. http://www.helium.com/items/779827-homemade-lip-gloss-recipes
this is a recipe for homemade lipgloss. You can make lot's of beauty products at home using ingridients from in your kitchen and around the house, you just have to search around on the internet a bit :)
You could also make a scrapbook of all your favorite memories together, including pictures, funny stories, and special messages to her. You could also give her a beatifully wrapped jar of baking ingredients for cookies with a note promising you'll make them together, this website shows you how: http://www.dominosugar.com/content/158/baking_gift_ideas.aspx
or just make her some other kind of baking and wrap it up beautifully with a card. Just be creative, thoughtful, and have fun (:

What are your ideas to make a garage sale more green?
Q. I love the recycling aspect of a sale. What are your ideas to make garage sales more eco friendly. Give your thinking behind your ideas to share with others.

A. Boy, you received some really bright responses to your question, here! (I actually made a suggestion to Yahoo yesterday that could help to improve the quality of some of the answers we receive. Some are blatantly offensive, but many are just nonsensical, and it wastes time sifting through them!)

Anyway, I'll give you some genuine suggestions:

1. Use a large dry erase board rather than signs to direct people around the yard, indicate where the cashier is, notify of sales, etc. You can use mini ones from the dollar store on individual tables to indicate prices (Everything on this table $1.00, for instance).

2. Bunch small or related items together, and sell them in plastic carry containers from the dollar store, or even from containers around your house. You can raise the price a bit, as they're getting two or more items in one!

3. Use clean and sanitary paper boxes (tissue boxes, cereal boxes) or washed out jars to group and carry small items for people to bring home, rather than using plastic bags

4. Get display cartons and cardboard boxes from the supermarket for people to carry larger items home in

5. If you serve food/drinks, use paper, not plastic

6. Re-sell or donate clothes and rags. They'll take up less room in a landfill, and everyone has a use for something, even if it's not immediately apparent

7. Give a little discount or gift to anyone who comes on foot, by bike, etc (rather than by car). If you can't do a discount, a little candle, mini photo album, etc is a nice gesture

8. If you have plastic water jugs (the large ones, not ones you have drunk from), put them on the "Free" table. Someone may have a use for them.

9. If you need to fertilize or use grub killer on your lawn, don't do so before the sale. Some people are very sensitive to it. Better yet, seek out healthier alternatives

10. Make sure to take down any signs you've hung up around town, and place in the recycle bin
