Q. Would like to hear from parents, aunts/uncles, grandparents, teachers or anyone who has at least 1 special child in their life. What are the best/most reliable sources of information with regards to the best toys or good gift ideas for kids?
A. When I have a toy idea for any of my kids or friend's kids I like to check amazon.com. I will some times buy from there but for the most part I check their reviews. I have saved myself a number of times by checking there first. Good Luck!

Q. I would like to know how much an average American parent spends on Christmas per child? What are good gift ideas for adult kids ages 25, 21, and 19? Is it ok to give gift certificates with maybe another small personal gift?
A. My parents were what some would consider middle class. They spent no more than $200 when times were GOOD an no less than $20
For those age ranges they should not expect you to spend much, they are probably just learning how to be independant and are beginning to understand why their parents used to say 'we can't afford that" now that they are paying bills on their own.
My sister and i LOVED whenever we got giftcards....it meant that we had the opportunity to shop......whcih is something not many have the luxury of doing at that age....unless they still live at home.....even if we did live at home, we would have loved them.
Some things I loved...or would have loved, getting at that age
1.Gas gift card
2.Forever 21 gift card
3.old fashioned bored game that we playd on christmas as a family
4. A nice christmas breakfast
5. Gift certif to M.A.C.
6. Taget or grocery store giftcard.
