Q. I still have not done my gift to my wife for Christmas and I am new in the bay, any idea where I find find authentic san francisco gift idea for my wife who like original jewelry and clothes. She is about 26 and beautiful :-)

Q. My daughter is married and expecting their first child in September. I was wondering what would be a great gift that would be both somewhat useful and cherished. I was originally thinking a cedar hope chest but my wife says those are a thing of the past.....? Her house does have room for such an item.
What's your thoughts?

A. I think the cedar chest is a good idea, if you think she will use it then what's the harm in getting it for her? :)
My grandfather actually did the same thing for my parents! Get it engraved with a special message or something.
