Q. I am seventeen, i grew up kinda isolated from babies, and now i have a pregnant friend, shes due in october, She's hving a boy names Brylee Ryan. I am very excited, just confused on gift ideas, I'm unique.

How about giving her a digital photo frame? If she does not get a photographer gift she'll probably pay a baby photo session herself since she seems to like this kind of gift. By giving her a digital photo frame she has the possibility to view and display all her baby photos all the time.

So we are now 6 weeks pregnant and are planning to tell family and friends when we go home for Christmas. The only thing we can think of is either sending gifts that say "World's Best Aunt" or "World's Greatest Grandparents" and have them find out that way. Are there any other ways?

BTW: Is this ok to give t-shirts or whatever we chose that have these saying as Christmas gifts?

The baby has a hole in his heart so my friend has to have the baby in a hospital 6 hours away and the baby is excepted to have to stay in that hospital for at least a month. What are some things that she could use to keep her busy while she is recovering from the delivery and while her baby goes through surgeries. I know snacks are great but what kind of gift is there that can keep her mind busy while going through such a tough time?

A. Please, please, don't get her anything baby related for her birthday. When it's time for the baby shower, get her something for the baby...meanwhile, it's her birthday, so celebrate her!

I might suggest a massage...Many day spa's offer pregnancy massages, which (a) allow her to relax in a way that doesn't interfere with her belly, and (b) will help to relax the muscles that get really sore when a woman is pregnant.

Alternately, there's always the things that the rest of us want, even when we're not pregnant...Diamonds or pearls are always nice! :)
