best gift ideas for 1 year old boy image

I need a gift idea for a 17 year old boy. He's my best friend's son and he was just awarded Rookie of the Year at his local fire house where he is a volunteer. He's into computers, science type things, tv mystery type shows, and, obviously, fire fighting. Any ideas would be way helpful. I'll be seeing him this weekend. Somewhere in the $30 - $50 range. I got it at a local library and watched it all the way through over the course of a week.
It is in your price range with rush shipping.
It is 2 disks. It is not as big as "Planet Earth".
It goes through how the Earth's processes changed history. It deals with different topics. No animal stories like "Planet Earth". These shows cover things like geology and other scientific topics.
There is a section on FIRE.

I need gift ideas for boys who love spiderman?

I'm Christmas shopping online, and all that I have left are a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old boy. They both love spiderman and all of the characters associated with him. I want some good gift ideas that would make their Christmas special. They already have the costumes, and I would like to stay away from the "toy" thing (they have plenty of spiderman toys). I plan to spend between 50 and 60 dollars on each child, and get them at least two gifts. Any ideas?
