Q. I'm horrible at picking out gifts for people. For my gf's sisters and their families I gave them all fleece throws with their names on them. They're both young couples with a one yr old boy and one also has a girl who's also seven. The seven year old and one of the boys have a bday at the end of the month so I'm also giving them a separate card with a toys r us gift card.
A. First of all, I think it is lovely you are picking out gitfs for your girlfriends family.
A lot of people wouldn't bother.

What should I get My boyfriend for our 2year Anniversary?
Q. We met in high school and has been thru quite a bit in the two years we have been together. We are eachothers first everything. By that i mean introduction of parent meeting, first love, and longest relationship and counting. Thats good for young couples.
Well besides that we are young and love to have fun and we might go bowling. We agreed not to exchange gifts but i want to get him something and surprise him before we go out that,night. Knowing him he will do the same but I want to beat him to it.
I need ideas on what to get him tho. He is not picky or materialistic so anything will do. I perfer something small because Christmas id a week after and his birthday the week after that.

A. You can invite him out on a quick vacation. Last time I did it we spent it on VA beach at sandy bay apartments. An extra time to be with him will be highly appreciated. You can get to do things together to add on your lists of happy memories. Because as you said, he is not picky nor materialistic, I believe he will like and love what you give for him because it came from you and he loves you.

what is a good gift to get for a young couple that just moved into their first home?
Q. Need an idea for a house warming gift for 2 freinds. They mentioned that there place was kinda plain/"not spiffed up at all" would a gift card to lowes or a furniture store be a good idea or should i buy them something?
A. gift cards are great especially for homeowners. they will need everything. brass doorknockers are nice as are wireless doorbells. both are relatively inexpensive.
