How do I make a good quality book (hard cover)?

Q. I had a cheesy gift idea- I don't know how to construct it but I plan on hand writing/drawing everything

Q. Theres this guy I've been dating who im head over heels for and tomorrow is our one month anniversary. I want to do something special like give him a sweet gift. I know people dont usually do much this early in a relationship but I want to show him how much he means to me. I was thinking about making a CD for him with all of his favorite songs then drawing on it. Is this a good idea? Any more suggestions?

A. I think it is sweet that you would like to give your boyfriend a one month anniversary gift, but be careful what you decide. Keep it simple, not too sweet and something with a little humor. I would look though Pinterest and see if there are any crafty ideas. Also, check out ibetyoudonthavethis.com. They have tons of great gift ideas. Some things on that site are kinda crazy, but others are so practical and leave you thinking, why didn't I think of that. Either way, congrats on your anniversary! I wish you many more!

What can I give to friends and neighbors for Christmas instead of a goody-plate, I'd love a creative idea?

Q. In years past we've given a card with a picture of our kids who had duct tape on their mouths and the card read, Peace On Earth. Another year we gave a box of brownies with a poem attached that said, "Roses are red. Christmas is sweet. We're busy this year so make your own dang treat."

I have no ideas for this year and would prefer not to go back to goody-plates.

Can i put a gift card in a snowglobe?

Q. I saw on Pinterest that multiple people have done this. But my question is, if I Put the giftcard in water until tomorrow morning, will that mess up the barcodes magnet inside?

A. If the idea is repinned from a blog, click through to the blog from the pinned image and see if there are user comments. I've done this with ideas which I thought sounded good, only to read that like 90% of people who tried them thought they were disastrous for one reason or another. It's the best way to find out for sure.
