Q. I wanted to get him a 3-wheeler for his birthday, but he will not get much use out of it being winter is almost here. I need some ideas on a good fall/winter b-day present for a 4 year old boy no more than $50.
A. Arts and crafts items are great for keeping young boys occupied indoors (without them being glued to a tv or computer screen). Try washable markers with a superhero cartoon coloring book, or a themed play-doh kit (like the Backyardigan's pirate ship - or even play-doh by itself), a water-color book, construction paper and glue... this list is endless. You could create a gift bag full of an assortment of these items for not a lot of $. Boys that age really love to create, explore, imagine, and then admire their handiwork!

Q. I'm Christmas shopping online, and all that I have left are a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old boy. They both love spiderman and all of the characters associated with him. I want some good gift ideas that would make their Christmas special. They already have the costumes, and I would like to stay away from the "toy" thing (they have plenty of spiderman toys). I plan to spend between 50 and 60 dollars on each child, and get them at least two gifts. Any ideas?

A. when i was little we didn't have much money so we always gave my parents a coupon book that we would make my oldest sis would have 3 cooked meals of your Choice or 2 free babysits i would have 2 free car washes 5 free hugs my mom well would do different thins but sorta like that is fun
