Celebrating my 18th birthday in London in a month, what to do?

Q. I'm 18 in a month and a bit and would like to celebrate my birthday doing different stuff in the city. I don't drink and most of my friends are 17 anyways so it would be difficult to go clubbing etc. So far off the top of my head I'm thinking...

Comedy club - any recommendations?
Shisha
Nice restaurant

But I wanna do some more original things. Anyone got any ideas?

A. For your birthday you should do something unique and memorable. You should host a "picnic in the park" You can have it in a public park or in a neighborhood park. Have enough food, drinks and snacks for everyone. Arrange a great selection of party songs that you can play so everyone can dance . Oh yeah make sure the park has a playground so that your guest can play on the swings, slides and jungle gym. It would be pretty memorable to see all your friends, and family act like kindergartners. Make sure you tell you family and friends now the gifts you want so they will have enough time to buy them. If you need any ideas check out this page that have popular gifts that people your age get. http://www.giftgrease.com/eighteen-year-old.html Hope this helps you out.

What should i buy my boyfriend while in london?
Q. We each took separate vacations. I went to London for a month and I really want to bring him a good gift that isn't tacky or touristy. Any ideas?

A. Some british ales/beer. Meantime is a very good local London brewery.

What should I get my husband for his birthday?
Q. It's his birthday next month. He has pretty much everything he needs and doesn't want anything in particular. I don't really want to spend loads of money. Just a thoughtful or interesting gift. He loves sci fi but not to the geeky stage, isn't interested in sport and works as an IT consultant in London. Any Ideas?

A. If there isn't a "thing" that he wants, consider having a event or something to do instead of something to have. Some less expensive ideas are a massage, a tour of a special place nearby, a night in a nice hotel. If you feel like spending some more you could do something bigger, like a hot air balloon ride, or a vacation, or a spa package. What a great wife you are!

what can a non uk citizen do in the House of Parliament in london?
Q. what can a non uk citizen do in the House of Parliament in london?
does i cost anything?
i can not find any info to the cost and does i have a museum or things in the like?

A. Overseas visitors can watch debates in the House of Commons and the House of Lords from their public galleries, and also watch various committees in action.
There is no entry fee for any of these events. You just have to queue up on the day (expect to wait an hour or two for ordinary debates). None of these events is ticketed.

You can also take a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament.
These run on most Saturdays year-round and Monday Saturday during the summer opening period (27 July to 1 September) when Parliament is on its summer break. There are no tours on Bank Holidays.

The tours are fascinating: highlights include the House of Lords and House of Commons, the splendid Westminster Hall (the oldest surviving part of Westminster Palace, built 1,000 years ago) and the Queens robing room.

Its a good idea to book in advance for the tours.
Book online

or by phone
0844 847 1672
or in person
from the ticket office adjacent to the Jewel Tower, opposite the Houses of Parliament.

There's no museum there, but there is a gift shop and a cafe.

Edit:
Sorry: forgot to give you the prices for the tours.

adults £15
children (5-15yrs) £6
students and over-60s £10
children under 5 go free but still need a ticket.
