What do you write on a wedding thankyou card?

Q. A website with sayings would be great, but if you can think of one go ahead!

A. Just a simple thank you is all that is expected. And hand written thank yous are so rare, and so appreciated when recieved!

There are just a couple etiquette rules, one is that the writer signs it with just the writer's name, but mentions the spouse in the thank you note. And supposedly, the notes with a big "thank you" written on them are tacky for a wedding. I would agree if I were buying them, but you use whatever you want to use.
Mention the gift, how much you liked it, thank them for coming to the wedding if you want, you do not have to. You should have done that at the wedding to each guest.

so it goes like this:
Dear Aunt Jane and Uncle Fred,
Thank you so much for the gorgeous crystal candlestick set! Rick and I love them, they are already up on the fireplace mantle, reflecting light from the window. We so enjoyed seeing you at the wedding, and are so glad you got to join us! Now you will have to come for another visit to see your gift on our mantle.
thank you again, Love, Julie

the knot, weddingsabout.com, www.thank-you-note-examples-wording-ideas.com/wedding, e-how all say they have examples, and etiquette how tos.
