Fundraising ideas for teens?

Q. I am going on a school trip in the summer of 2011/12. The estimated cost is around 3000 dollars and, because the economy is tough, the only way i can go is by fund-raising. I don't want to fund raise through companies because I want full profit. Any suggestions??? :)

A. First off check this out: http://www.ehow.com/way_5240507_fundraising-ideas-teens.html

P.S. Bake sales to not raise much money.

My suggestions:
Help people plan parties
chores for family neighbors, elderly couples
have a carnival for kids
Car Wash
walking neighbors dogs (tell them what you are saving for they may give you more money
Babysit
Run your family yardsale and get a portion or all the proceeds!
Get a job on top of these things.
See if you have family members that will donate there airline miles to you.
Ask for gift cards for the specific airline you are flying.
Applebee's has started a new flapjack fundraiser look into that. I am not sure if you have to be a non-profit for that.

Here are some ideas. Have fun, good luck. If you need some more suggestions, I will keep brainstorming...email me.
