What are some good gift ideas for a 2 year old boy?

Q. My 2 year old step son is turning two and we have no idea what to get him! We don't have him very much, so we don't really know what he is into. We want to make his birthday really special and get him some fun toys but we are kinda lost as to what a 2 year old likes. Any ideas? Some cool toys? We got him an out door play structure, so thats out. Thanks for your help!! also links would be awesome!! There is no price limit.
