How can I make a keychain into a phone keychain?

but i want to make it into a phone keychain. the hook that holds it though isn't big enough for the heart keychain so i'm not sure what to do. any ideas would be great
I was thinking of maybe taking it to a jewelry store to have them cut the chain off and then i could just add string, idk

Anyone know of any ideas of a good gift to get my boyfriend for our anniversary/him moving?
Q. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 6 months and we care a lot for each other. He unfortunately is moving and is upset and I'm going away to school in a few weeks and I want to get him something for our anniversary and for him going away so there will always be something there to remind him of me. I just can't think of the perfect thing to give him. I desperately need help. He moves in a week. Anyone have any good ideas?

Firstly you could get a great photo of you two and get it framed for him to take when he moves. It would be even better if you have a photo that was taken somewhere that means something to you both - for example at the place where you had your first date, or your favourite hangout.
The other option is to go with a jewllery item. This will of course depend on whether you think it is appropriate and what your budget is... There are some great male rings or even a silver dog tag that could be engraved with a message, or a date.
