Q. Me and My Husband are trying to find some good ideas to do for Valentines Day. We were gonna go see a movie but we wont be able to so I guess were just gonna rent a movie and get some Chinese food to bring home and eat but we want to find some other things to do before the movie and food. What is a good gift to give to someone, to show forgiveness?
Q. I am leading a lesson to Sunday school class (ages 6-11). I realize the greatest gift is forgiveness ;however, to reinforce the lesson, I will have the kids give a beautifully wrapped (inexpensive) gift to someone they forgive. Any ideas of something that is inexpensive but will be a nice gift of forgiveness?
A. When I think of forgiveness, I think of a heart. You forgive from your heart! Since Valentine's Day wasn't that very long ago, possibly they just may have something with a heart on it that they could use & put "Forgiveness comes from my heart". If it was a small box of candy or something of that nature, it could be used to put earrings or little trinkets in. Or even use it to put a note in it that they forgave so in so today with the date on it. Or that so in so forgave them today with the date on it. It would be their box of forgiveness!...:)

A. - Cook him an old-fashioned homemade candlelight dinner at home
- Bake him a heart-shaped cake
- A big heart-shaped box filled with whatever he loves: DVDs, fishing gear, guitar strings and picks, etc
- Cut out 100 hearts of various colors of paper. Stick them up all over his room, office, car, or garage door. Write conversation heart sayings on some of them (like “Be Mine, Luv U, My Guy, and so on.) Or make a racier version.
