Q. Our ten year anniversary is coming up on the 13 of this month, and we have not had time to do some shopping so I need a quick meaningful gift idea for my husband.

Make a gift basket for the man in your life. Personalize it with things you know he likes. Maybe he needs a new hammer, loves peanuts and really new socks. Put them all in a gift basket along with a gift card for his favorite restaurant or hardware store. Shrink wrap the basket or even better, put the gifts in a small tool box.
Gourmet Dinner:
Cook a special gourmet dinner and serve his favorite wine. Try making filet mignon or lobster with real drawn butter. Make a vegetable soufflé, Caeser salad or rice pilaf and his favorite dessert. Then have a movie on hand that he's wanted to watch.
Use Your Talents:
If you can sew, make him a new shirt. If you can paint, paint him a picture to hang in his office. A wonderful surprise would be to reupholster his favorite chair or his office chair. Build shelves in the garage for his tools. Change the oil in his vehicle while he's out with friends.

Making football or basketball sweatshirts is great gift and not very difficult to do. Just buy a sweatshirt in his favorite team's color and some fabric paints. Paint the name of his favorite player on the back and the team name or logo on the front. If you aren't good at freehand painting, buy stencils at a craft store. You also can create a team blankets using a large piece of fleece. Cut the outside edge toward the inside of the fabric about 2 inches in and make a cut about every inch. Then tie two pieces together all the way around. Paint the logo and team name on the front of the blanket. You can make bench seat cushions or rain slickers to take to the stadium.

Q. His birthday is on March 25 & I have a few ideas in mind, but any input would be awesome! He's into music, but I'm not sure where to go from there.
