I already know what I'm getting my boyfriend (an engraved poem I wrote him and cologne), but I want to get one of my best friends, who's a guy, a present because me and him do have history, but are still super close. Any ideas?

Help! I need gift ideas for my best guy friend!?

In a few months I am going to be shipped off to training for the army and my best friend is going to be lost without me. Before I leave, I want to get him something that will help him not only remember me, but to show him that ill always be there for him. We are together every day and to go from constantly seeing each other, tonight even being able to talk on the phone is going to be huge change for him.I need ideas for the perfect gift so that he knows I will always be his best friend. Any suggestions will be very appreciated and very helpful in this process. Thanks!

Congratulations on making such a life-changing decision to join the Army!
My boyfriend almost went to the Marines but decided against it later on so for a while I was sort of in your position. Is there something you're talented at such as art, playing an instrument, sewing, etc? If you are, I encourage you to create something that resembles your guys' friendship or create something that he will really like. That way, he can pull it out whenever he's thinking about you and remember all the good times you two have shared. I enjoy writing and recently wrote a short letter to my friend who was having a difficult time with her relationship and she loved it.
If you don't like these ideas, try making a scrapbook filled with pictures, funny things you two have said, fun stickers, and anything else that you guys have done together. As long as you making it meaningful, there's no wrong way of going about this way of saying "I'll always love you, buddy!"
