Popular gifts for 3 year old boy, 6 year old girl?

Does anyone have any good ideas for gifts for a 3 year old boy and a 6 year old girl? A few friends and I are playing Santa for a woman in our office who fell on some hard times very recently, and through no fault of her own. She's not going to accept this willingly. We'll literally have to put it on her doorstep Christmas eve, and run...so we can't ask her what her kids might want. Any ideas?

Well if you want the hot popular toys right now good luck finding them because stores everywhere are having an awful time keeping them on the shelves, much less when they will be getting more in. The one's we've been told are the hot sellers by FAO Schwartz and Toys R Us include:

* Imaginarium train tables and additional sets
* Screature the dino
* Zhu Zhu Pets
* Dinos in a Rock House
* Crayola Color Wonder Glo Paint
* Buzz Lightyear- the one that makes all the sounds and action that the movie Buzz does. You can find Buzz, but that one is the hardest to find as it is the most popular.
* Interactive Buzz and Woody set

If you could find any of that stuff it would really make these kids Christmas, but it won't be easy. Other ideas though that these ages enjoy:
3 year boys (my sons age): trucks, dinosaur things, Fisher Price crash and spin raceway, play dough you can never go wrong with and they have tons of fun sets right now from food to star wars that are not expensive, preschool board games like Chutes and Ladders, Cootie, Ants in Pants and other classic games, robots.

6 year old girls usually like craft kits they can make things with from jewlery to pottery, easy bake oven, cute things for their hair, some six year olds are still into dolls or into Barbie at that age, stuffed animal toys, especially Webkinz, art sets, books, kids versions of board games like Apples to Apples, Clue Jr. etc..

Anyone have gift ideas for a 6 year old girl and 10 year old boy?

I'm going to a birthday party tomorrow for a girl turning 6 and a boy turning 10. I don't have children, so I don't know what kinds of things kids are into these days. The boy likes sports and the girl likes anything girly. Any suggestions?
