I need to buy something for my goddaughter who turned 7 today. I am not that close to her unfortunately as I do not see her often but I still get her presents and hopefully will see her for her birthday this year. But I have no idea what 7 year old girls are into. I doubt it's Dora the Explorer as that was her favorite show. So any ideas of what I can get her to surprise her?

My 7-year old daughter liked Dora as a 3-4 year old, but no more! Here are her current favorites:
* Polly Pocket
* Doll house
* Jewelry & hair clips
* Disney princesses
* Outdoor toys; roller blades, bicycle, jump rope. She loves to decorate her bike.
* Interesting school supplies (cute erasers, sparkly pencils, stickers, and sets of colored pencils, paints, etc.)
She's not crazy about Barbies, but some of her friends like them.
Her aunt gave her a gift certificate to Target last spring, and that was VERY exciting for her.

I have a 7 year old female ghost living with me. She's mostly quiet and shy but she wants to be noticed and recognized. She will do what ever it takes to be acknowledged. I just to acknowledge her with something special this Christmas. Any thoughts?
