What is a good gift for my 2 year old daugther's birthday?

Q. Need a lot of gift ideas from cheap ($10 or so) to about $50 -- lots of family coming to the party.
She likes stuffed animals, but she has way too many of them. She also likes little play balls and loves to color.

I'm not a big fan of "character" toys, and would probably return anything "character".
