My 1st wedding anniversary is in a few weeks, July 23rd. I have no idea what to get my husband. I just bought some lingerie last night online from Victorias Secret as a surprise to wear for him but i have no clue what else to get him. He doesn't need anything, and everything he does want he buys. Also, he is not a romantic guy AT ALL. I was thinking a coupon book for sexual favors and such ;) I know it's the paper anniversary, so that would fit. Ideas on what to include in a coupon book? Any other gift ideas?

Full body massage - if all goes to plan you will both end up with no clothes on!
Oral sex coupon (self explanatory)
You pick the position - let him pick the position of his fantasy
Naked chef coupon - make him his favorite meal, the catch being you will do it with no clothes on, or with you lingerie on and dine with him in the candle light. (they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach lol)
Risqué movie night - let him choose an erotic movie, you can move from the couch to the bedroom.

My fiance is giving his groomsmen and best man each dog tags with their name, their "role" in the wedding, the date of the wedding and then a quote relating to a part of their past together. Along with those, he's doing a person-specific basket for each...one's movies, one's cars and one's sports. He's buying everything he wants in each and then i'm putting them together.

For the best man, he recently decided to add a leather journal with a written letter from him in it talking about their past and memories as well as his thanks. His best man is a song-writer and just loves to write...it's something that he'll love and really cherish.

I did something similar for my made of honor and bridesmaids. We wanted to get them something that wouldn't just sit around collecting dust...something that was specific to them and that they could enjoy.

How do I clean woodcarvings?

While cleaning out my parents home I came across 2 handcarved bookends, made in Mexico, each one in the shape of a man wearing a sombrero and taking a siesta. They were a wedding gift to my parents so they are approximately 80 years old. The only color on the carvings is the paint used to color the serapes the men wear, and I believe the rest of the wood has been lightly stained. I would like to clean them - gently - and bring up the color a little bit, but I have no idea how do to it. Can anyone help?

I would take them somewhere and have them cleaned. I wouldn't risk ruining such keep sakes.

My brother is getting married and i want to get him and his fiancee something funny/weird as a fake gift. preferrably something seperate for each. So when they open it later on after the wedding i want them to be like "wtf" then start laaughing. any ideas?

Can you give me some ideas for a wedding gift which will be loved by both the bride and the groom?

What kind of gifts would both the bride and groom like? Most wedding gifts seem geared to the domestic side of marriage. Am I being sexist?- but I sometimes think the brides (or the women in the family) get to make all the gift registry choices. Or do men want the same things for wedding gifts as women? Former grooms- what was your most awesome gift , received by the two of you, but you liked it a lot?

My husband and I got the perfect gift for our wedding. We have this lady through our church who sent us a catalog.... I don't remember from who, but she puts a limit on the gift, and they send a cateloge with gifts in that price range to choose from. Since I did most of the registry, I allowed my then husband to be to pick out the gift he wanted. He chose the power washer. He's used that over and over, and every time he does, he says, remember when you let me choose? I smile, he smiles, and we're both happy. I know this doesn't help much.... but perhaps if you "bing" "gift catelogs with preset prices" or something along that line, you might find something..... I hope this helps. I wish I could call that lady, but she passed two years ago, I'm sorry.

HELP! It's my 15th wedding anniversary and I need gift ideas. My husband is a country boy that doesn't dress up, wear cologne or watches. Any of the typical gift stuff doesn't apply to him. He is a simple, loving man. I really need some creative ideas. He has all the fishing and hunting gear one man can own.

How about a gift card or certificate to go on a fishing weekend with a buddy or you if you like fishing? Like go ahead and call the hotel, set up reservations, and all that so all he has to do is GO! Maybe even get a few gift cards for dinner, look up restaraunts in that area and hook him up!
