Q. I need ideas on what to get my mom for christmas. She really likes the nicer gifts, but I really don't want to spend a fortune. she likes things like designer clothes, bags, and accessories. She also really likes jewelry and kitchen gadgets. Could you give me an idea and maybe a specific item too.
A. You could go to Kohl's and get her a top. Or you can go to like a Walmart and get some PJ's. There's also Claire's. Get any jewelry that looks like something she'd wear (Necklaces, Earrings- if her ears are pierced, bracelets) ALSO, a prepaid gift card from American Express is a GREAT gift. You can put whatever amount you want on it and just give it to her (you might want to tell her how much is on it though). You can also go to Walmart, Sears, or Meijers to get some new knives, a food warmer, a new cookie sheet, some new silverware, stuff like that. Or a new wisk. Those break easy, so she may need one.

Q. My family has been blessed to have a dedicated teacher to tutor our son once a week. She is also a respite child care provider for NACCRA. I have come to love this single hard working mom. This lady is in her mid-50's, works 3 jobs just to provide a good home for her last daughter, that is in high school. Does anyone have any good gift ideas? Please no rude answers. Thank you.
