Need gift ideas from germany for girlfriend !?

anonguy

Parents are going to germany for a bit and my girlfriends birthday is upcoming. Is there anything off the top of your heads that you think would make a good/cute gift from germany, shes into soccer, and germany is big in soccer, any ideas ( Soccer is really the only thing I know she likes )

Answer
Man get her the 2010 FifaWorld Cup Germany team jersey. Make sure you find out if she does not has it yet. Try to find out who her favorite player is and find that jersey. It won't be hard man, Soccer is huge there and you will find that jersey everywhere. I hope this Helps!!

christmas presents for men?

Q. Me and my boyfriend are getting gifts not only for eachother, but for eachother's parents, too. I know an idea of what I want to get his mom, i was gonna get her some crafty stuff cause she's been into crocheting and yarn work but idk what to get cause she has loads of yarn already..so any ideas on that? and what should i get his dad? and ideas for him to get my mom? Nothing pricy, but just cute simple things like under 20$ that we could do? :)

Answer
For "Mom" - I would not buy yarn. Instead, get her a gift certificate where she buys her knitting supplies, and present it with a "Cookie Mix in a Jar" that you put together - like these.

http://gingerbreadblog.com/2010/11/gingerbread-cookie-mix-in-a-jar/

For your mom- same idea.. gift certificate where she likes to buy her hobby/extra-curricular stuff (stuff she's reluctant to buy for herself) - then package with a Cookie mix in a jar.

You can also do "soup mix in a jar" "bread mix in a jar" - "BBQ Rub in a Jar" etc. anything where there are different dry ingredients you can layer up in a jar to good effect.

For Dad: Same idea - Gift certificates wherever they do their "hobbies". Home Depot if they're DIY... The Model Airplane store if he's into that... Cabella's/ BassPro Shop if they're hunter/fishers... BestBuy if they're into gadgets... etc. Most guys have at least one thing they like that's "extra-curricular"

Package them up with "BBQ Rub in a Jar" if they're into that "Mexican Dip Mix in a Jar" - or more "Cookie Mix in a Jar" - all guys like cookies. - but you could also do "in a jar" stuff they could use for a Super-Bowl party... dry ingredients for big dip mixes... BBQ rubs.... Cornbread.... etc.

Hope That helps - Merry Christmas

Where could I find inspirational images for a school?

best gift ideas 2010 men
on any satisfactory gift ideas from the top Christmas gifts 2010 for men ...
best gift ideas 2010 men image

Dave

I'm basically looking for images based on the theme of personalised learning and mentoring. General ideas include, a child with sparks coming from his hands with books, certificates, awards, money. A group of students being mentored.

These are for a learning centre for year 11's. Ideally they would be royalty free. But any help would really benefit me. I've scoured everywhere and don't seem to find anything that 'fits the bill'.

Thank you all in advance.

What should I crochet my boyfriend for Christmas?

Jeanette T

I want to make him a homemade gift, along with some other things. He doesn't wear hat's and he doesn't wear scarves. Gloves are probably a no too. I was thinking a blanket, but a little unsure of that too. What do you think? Any ideas?

Answer
An afghan is a good idea. I've either knit or crocheted afghans for several of the guys in my family, and they all appreciated them. If he's particularly attached to his school, using school colors might be appropriate. Otherwise, his favorite color is always a safe bet.

What about a crocheted necktie? Like this one, maybe: http://www.knitting-crochet.com/crochet/crotie.html or this squared-off one: http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/huggems/tie.html . Or a bow tie, like this one: http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2009/06/how-to_crocheted_bow_tie.html

Unless y'all are in an area of the country that's never cold, fingerless gloves might be appreciated. These http://iamtotallyobsessedwithyarn.blogspot.com/2010/09/holy-crap-i-wrote-pattern.html and http://www.crochetspot.com/fingerless-gloves-for-men/ are very plain and guy-like. If he rides a motorcycle, stitching a pad of suede in the palm area might be a good idea.

And then there are coozies/koozies/cosies - those insulating sleeves that keep your hand from warming your soda or beer or keep your coffee cup from burning your hand. http://www.crochetspot.com/crochet-plastic-bags-plarn-can-cozy/ and http://www.crochetspot.com/crochet-pattern-absolutely-easy-coffee-cup-sleeve/

You didn't say how old y'all are. If you're on the young side, the coozie/cosy idea might be the way to go. Make sets in your school colors and/or stitch the school emblem on. Or make them in the colors of the sports teams he favors.

Where or how did the author of goldilocks come up with his ideas?

Q. Ideas for associating hot and cold with men and women, respectively? According to the book Men are from Mars and women are from Venus, it would seem logical to associate cold with man since Mars is a very cold planet and hot with woman since Venus is very hot.
P.s I don't want to read any smart alekey responses such as the story of Goldilocks was written waay before the book Men from Mars Women from Venus.

A. The earliest recorded version of the tale is found in a collection of early children's books in the Toronto Public Library. This is a homemade book titled, The Story of The Three Bears. Eleanor Mure wrote and illustrated the story as a gift for her four-year-old nephew in 1831 from a story she already knew through oral tradition.

Origins of the story below.

What should i get my 17 year old boyfriend for Valentines Day?
Q. I'm 14 and my bf is 17 and by the time valentines day comes around we'll be dating for a month, what should I get him?

A. electric puzzle game
The Sleeptracker watch
Xbox 360 or PS3
Guitar Hero
silk boxers
champagne (together for one night)

They are just several ideas. Looking for a gift is not the easiest thing to do. There are thousands of things that you can buy but you are not sure if they will like it. But, I think spending a day with him is the best gift for a man that he will surely love.
But if you want to get a gift, here is a list I hope that it will help you. Actually, the list doesn't include a list of gift ideas only for men. But you can find several ideas.
