This my not be the BEST idea, but it does some good! I've done this for years!

A Basket: (This is what you put in it)

Slippers
$5 Gift Card
Chocolate
A card (that you made)
A mug, or something you feel needs extra :)
Perfume*
Robe*
Shampoo*
Stuffed animal*

* = Optional

Or by a $2 Stocking and fill it up with the same things

Now wrap the basket in a clear plastic wrap with a bow on the handle! Ahhh.....Christmas joy!

i am 14 and i moved to canada from the u.k last week and i left my best friend kathryn behind :'(
she is like ammazing at gifts and she has already found something that she wants to send over but i have no idea, she isnt telling me what she is getting me so i dont know what to compete with :/
put yourself in my position and tell me what you would get your best friend :)

If you are asking for what gifts you can buy in Canada and sent over... I have no idea what your friend is like or what things interest her.

* Maple syrup.
* Smoked salmon.
* Canadian stuffed animals -- RCMP moose, bears, beavers, etc.
* 2010 Winter Olympic items -- jersey, t-shirt, mitts, mugs, etc.
* Red Rose tea.
* Native art work.
* Various Canadian t-shirts or hats.
* A collection of common food items you can't get in the UK -- just go to a grocery store and sent her O-Dutch potato chips, Quaker-bars, Canada dry gingerale, etc.
* Take a lot of pictures with a digital camera and have a picture book made of it.
