Gift to Child dilemma, need advice.?

Family #1:
1 Boy age 5,
1 girl age 18 months
Very well behaved Children. Very grateful for any gift they get. Excellent manners.
Parents have alot of $$, so they literally have every toy out there! The boy even has a PSP at 4 years old, and a computer in his room to play video games!
they have a big house, and all the toys are properly organized. The house is always clean. The boy does pick up after himself. (Girl not sure)
What would be good gift ideas?
Last birthday I gave them each a beach towel, cars and barbie themed. Christmas I gave books. (they don't have alot of books).
(They boy said thank you, but you could tell he wasn't overjoyed)

They DO NOT go out really anywhere. The father had severe allergy with smoking, and can't even stand being outside by someone that is smoking.
Like I said very grateful, well behaved children.

Any gift suggestions?

Family #2:
Boy age 6
Girl age 4
Parents don't have alot of money, but do buy bigger toys for the kids like those ride on electric toys.
When sorting through toys to get rid of them, mom decides that she rather throw them out then give to charity.
(Sorry that Erks me).
Boy has bad attitude, and when given a christmas gift last year (hot wheels set) said "that's it"? >:(
He also tends to break his toys.
Gift card wouldn't be a good idea, they would have to put on top, or perhaps spend it on themselves.
This family does like to go for outings, but Children don't always behave in public.

Any gift suggestions?

I think the boy should get a bike or those roller skates.
The girl should get a Build-A-Bear plush, an animal she likes, of course.
You should make it talk.
Family #2:
The boy should get something that won't get damaged when it falls apart, like Lego's or building blocks.
The girl should get a dollhouse with a doll.
