My mom and I don't know what to get for my 8 year old little brother. He is into science, cars, noisy things, he is a typical little kid. We are on a really tight budget, so does anyone have any ideas for a good gift for him.

My daughter received an invitation to a birthday party from a boy in her class. I have no idea what is cool for an 8 year old boy. I'm used to girls. What's something I can pick up at Wal-Mart that's no more than $15.
