Baby shower gift ideas...?

Q. I'm a teenager trying to buy my adult friend a baby shower gife for her first child. We don't know what gender the baby is, and I don't have a high-paying job (obviously). Does anyone have any ideas?

One gift that is never under-appriciated: Diapers. Lots of people forget how many newborns go through, so even a small package would make a great gift. Also, consider offering your time as a gift. She may want a nice homecooked meal in those first few weeks, or need to vaccuum desparately but cant find the time. Make "coupons" (or just offer her your idea) to do little things for her, like cook, or do the dishes.

ok looking to get my son some presents for x--mas but he has everything pretty much. I cant get him any video games because other family members got that covered. he has a ps3 and an ipod touch. he doesnt want a cellphone or movies.

what else can i get him. he has everything he wants. he like hunting,fishing,4 wheeling,skidooing and he gots all the gear to do all that. and he like technoogly

Gift certificate to the shooting range, day out with you fishing, a trip to the homeless shelter to distribute gifts to others to celebrate giving instead of getting. Movie tickets to the theater, itunes card for free downloads. Maybe he can take one of his many gifts and give to someone who doesn't have as much.
