I need an idea for a white elephant gift. The Christmas party is tomorrow, and I don't have time to go out and buy something, so I need something I probably have already, or could make.

Vase, silk flowers, a book in good condition that you don't want any more, a DVD or CD (or burn one) that you don't want anymore, statue, a Christmas ornament, a plant, a frame, a picture, jigsaw puzzle, etc. It's a great time to 're-gift' something you have that you really didn't like or want.

Make cookies, fudge or banana nut bread to give away if you want it to be something 'nice'.

On my mom's side of the family the adults play white elephant each year and this will be my first year playing, and I have no idea what to get! The age range is from 20-60. I don't want to get a gag gift for my first time but I have no idea where to even start with anything else.

I always take something awful like pickled pigs feet but since you don't want it to be a gag gift, maybe take a Christmas ornament.

$20 per person is actually a good amount to work with. You could get nice bath/body gift sets for them. Or you could do the cocoa mug gift sets. You could also do a gift card to grocery store or general store. I don't know what's popular in your area, but here it would be a Jewel gift card or Target gift card, something along those lines. I think a gift card and maybe a small box of candy would be really nice for them.
