Steam 2011 Great Gift Pile?

When you click on the Great Gift Pile they give you a gift for pressing Get Started and another gift for looking at your inventory (gift or coal) but when i go to my inventory says i have 2 gifts from Steam but when i click on it says 0 is this a bug or maybe just too many people trying?

I've done the first achievement from The Great Gift Pile of 27 December, and in my inventory appears a new tab "Portal 2" , there is no game downloading, and the store doesn't say that I can download it free.

I don't exactly know how much coal I've got so i don't know if I just got coal and the new tab is just a visual bug.
Is there a solution or Steam likes to torture my poor feelings T-T?

I recently won the FEAR Complete Pack on Steam as part of the Great Gift Pile Giveaway. I have zero interest in playing these games and would like to trade them for another game someone else is maybe not interested in that I would play. If you make an offer below we can arrange the details via email if I find your offer suitable. The FEAR Complete Pack normally costs 50 dollars on Steam. The FEAR Complete Pack includes all three base FEAR games, as well as two DLC packs for the original FEAR and one DLC pack for FEAR 2.
I have it as a Steam gift. I have not yet redeemed it. You can trade gifts via Steam trading similarly to Team Fortress 2 items.

Steam has no way for you to transfer your game to another user, even if you wanted to.

Oh. That's good to know. I hate FEAR for some reason the animation makes me feel queasy. Only game that has ever done that.

I did one of the objectives and it told me to look in my steam inbox. When i looked, it said 0 invites or gifts and a Portal 2 tab appeared( i don't have portal 2 ). After i checked my games and there was nothing new, just my old games( don't have a lot) so i'm confused.
How do you claim your gift? because every time i click on the gift pile thing it tells me i completed the same objective and i should look in my steam inbox for my gift, but everytime nothing is there....
Help please i want some free games :)

Steam has been experiencing intense technical difficulties due to the heavy server load of everyone trying to get in on the Holiday Sale. Servers are just starting to restabilize now, but I'd give it a few hours for your gifts to show up.
