Do you have any great Gift Basket Ideas?

I thinking about making gift baskets this year for Christmas for my son's great grandmothers.(4 in all) I only have a few ideas and I'm hoping someone could help me out--it would be great to start shopping now for some things.

1 grandmother is Hawaiian so I want her basket to be "Hawaiian themed" (She is a VERY PROUD HAWAIIAN! LOL! in case you're wondering!)

mini-calendars/lotion/candles/a framed photo of my son

A painting or drawing from your son, home made cookies, ornament with the year, name, etc, candy, chap sticks, puzzles, word searches, sewing supplies, empty picture frames, or personalized key chain.

Hawaiian theme-Hawaiian calender, hibiscus shaped candles, and or Hawaiian candies. Google Hawaii themed gift baskets and a lot of websites will come up and they have a lot of good ideas.

Also go to personalcreations.com and they have a lot of items that you can personalize any way you want. They even have calenders were you send them your photos and they make the calender using the photos you sent to them.

at my school we have this big sister/little sister program and I am a big sister and I want to get my little sister (an incoming freshman) a little gift. I was thinking of doing a little gift box, I just don't know what to put in it! Any ideas?

From her facebook I got that she likes sports, but can be girly too. She likes golf, throwing around footballs and soccer. She likes bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers and singers like Justin Timberlake, th beatles, foo fighters, etc.

IDEAS? Im desparate, I want to be a good big sis!

A gift box is great--sort of like a school survival guide.
One thing I'd definitely include is a list of things you wish YOU knew when you first started high school. Imparting your wisdom as a Senior will help your "little sister" navigate her way through her first days in a new place.
I'd also make her a mix CD of some of the music you like, to introduce her to some sounds she may not have been exposed to as of yet.

A few healthy snack foods--tasty energy bars, mini boxes of cereal, etc.--would probably go over well.

Some cute stick-up Post-It notes for her locker (or anywhere) will be useful as well. They have all sorts of cute designs now--check out their web site for ideas. http://www.3m.com/us/office/postit/products/prod_notes_sn.html

You can also throw in a cute pack of pens--there are always fun designs that beat the basic Bic, and they're cheap.

A small container of Purell or scented hand lotion will come in handy, too.

What is a good graduation gift for a future teacher?

My little sister is about to graduate from college in May. This is a BIG deal because she is the first of five children to graudate college. Plus, she is graduating with the highest honors.

She will be a teacher and I'm trying to think of some appropriate gift ideas. I thought about getting some personalized stationary. Any other great gift ideas?

I don't know much English but I will try my best to explain.

ok. well some ativities you can try are filling some baby bottles with wine or beer. and having a contest to see who finishes first.

another one that I did has buying the cheap plastic babies and putting diapers on them with ketchup, or mayonnaise, what ever as long as it feel nasty. they will have something on their eyes so they can't see. and try their best to change the diaper and put a new one on. they also need baby wipes. the guy who cleans better the baby, and puts on the diaper correctly wins.

We want some original ideas. She is a very unique girl. We have a pool, live close to the beach, and have other options available. What location, what would we do there, how many people to invite? Also, any great gift ideas would be helpful! She has a good phone, doesn't want or need a new computer, and doesn't use her brother's old iPod (she's not a fan of them). Thank you so much!

I'm trying to think of a really great gift idea for my brother for his 21st birthday. He's really into his studies (criminal justice major, arabic minor), and already has had several jobs in his field. He wants to someday be some kind of federal agent (FBI, Homeland, Secret Service, etc.). Any good ideas from people who know a lot more about this than me?

A shirt from his favorite store, a big fleece blanket, a bottle of cologne, a few pairs of boxers, his favorite tv show on dvd, a few movies he would like, a silver chain or watch if he wears jewelry, his favorite kinds of candy, bake his favorite kind of cookie, write a list of 101 reasons why you love him, make a homemade coupon book with things you're willing to do for him (cook him dinner, wash his car, back massage, treat him to a movie of his choice etc) a few books if he enjoys reading, tickets to a concert by his favorite performer or to a sports game, a nice coffee mug, a wallet or money clip, a tie if he would use it. Any ideas for an 80th birthday party celebration?

I need help on gift ideas, and unique decorating, etc. It's my mom's birthday and we have rented a room at a resturant. What do you thonk of pictures of my mom during different satges - little girl, teen, wedding, etc? Thanks for all answers.

a picture board is a great idea- I did one for my moms 60th party and she had a great time showing off her pics to everyone! Go get one of those tri-fold display boards and put tons of pics of her throughout the years on it- or you can make a slide show and play it on someones laptop computer- whichever works better for you. For decorating I just used my moms favorite colors- pink, purple, and silver accents- we had fake flower petals scattered down the center of the tables and a set of pretty candles next to a vase of lillies. I also found small travel candles for 50 cents and had one of those at each table setting as a party favor for the guests. We had balloon arrangements all over the room and hung streamers and some birthday banners too. I had also found on Ebay a book all about the year she was born and we had that on the picture table so people could look through that also and I found a Life magazine from th week she was born on there too (I gave that as a gift to her and she loved it).
so as far as decorations- go with something that you think she would like, maybe vases of her favorite flowers all over, or make it a theme relating to her favorite hobby and decorate along those lines (gardening, bingo, quilting- whatever!) This is a good time also to get some family pictures taken so make sure to gather up the whole group before people start to leave to get some good family shots.
