Katie

I need gifts for....

8 year old tomboy
40 year old woman
36 year old man
3 Different families

Answer
8 year old tomboy: gift card to their favorite store.

40 year old woman: does she like to cook? If so the griddler by cuisinart is a great gift. You can get it off amazon.com.

36 year old man: does he like to build things? Or fix things up? If so then some kind of tool, like the Fein Multimaster its a 7-in-1 tool. Very cool.

Hope I helped, good luck and hope you have a good Christmas!

Why do people think its wrong that my girlfriend is older then me?

WestCoast

Its not like were having sex or anything, I just go to country clubs with her/classy parties etc. My parents really like her and she is very educated and everything. Its not like shes a loser, she buys me awesome gifts and does not expect me work a dumb job at McDonald's. (To stressful) If I was a girl dating an older man no one would think that's bad, so why do people think its bad when its the other way around? My girlfriend might not be "Attractive" but its the heart that counts and age is just a number, I'm 16 and know what I'm doing. I plan on marrying her when I turn 18 and life will be great. Ill move out of my parents old home and into her nicer one and be a great supportive husband. We agree on almost everything and the things we don't like children are not a big deal. She does not want any kids and I'm fine with it. It just annoys me that were ever I go people always think "Gold Digger" or something like that, I would love my girlfriend weather she had money or not.
@ Birds Fly South: Wow, that was great advice thanks.

Answer
first of all. You are obviously 16 and immature and dont know how life really works.

In the REAL world.. its older man younger woman couples that are the most vilified couples.
I have never in my life heard anybody vilify older woman younger male couples. White culture doesnt even call older white women pedophiles for getting pregnant with their 13 year old student's babies.

I think older woman younger male couples are paranoid because their relationships dont work that well and they think the relationships arent working because they arent accepted.
They dont work as well for other reasons. (fertility etc)

No older woman ever called my dad a cougar for falling in love with my mom when she was 19 and married her when she was between 24 and 25 and he was more than twice her age.
Even when my mom was 40's.. my dad STILL got called names by family gossipers.

And no older woman called my mom a gilrrtoy. No, she got nasty words like "gold digger" because dad owned a manufacturing company.

I have never heard older women do anything in life BUT bash older male younger female couples.

I've even heard older women call us 28-34 year old guys pervs for dating
22 year old females while at the same time calling women twice our ages cougars for dating someone that age.

So... older white women vilifiy all age gaps where the male is older. I happen to be white male with asian female..and we are out of the juristiction of white females. no white male is going to push a young asian woman off of us because old white women dont like it. For as long as white/asian couples continue to raise more scholars than white/white couples per capita.. we will never take breeding advice from white/white couples.

but this isnt about me. I'm in a different place in my life than you are. You are a kid. Your idea of "love" will change 1000x over the coming years. by the time you are 26... you will have hot 18-25 year old females looking your way with slobbering mouths dreaming of a husband...and they will be pretty hard to resist once you see how great their bodies are. Just like I can never resist them.

But you said "i would love my girlfirend whether she had money or not"..yet you mentioned her money quite a bit in your post.

"classy parties"... "gifts".... "nicer house"...."gold digger" (dude... no male is ever called a gold digger. That is a sexist expression that only females who breed intelligently are subject to. Most males who date older celebrity women, for example.. get called "boy toys" not .. "gold diggers". Its a sexist expression with EXCLUSIVE feminine usage. My mom lived with it for 30 years. Her crime? avoiding white trash in favor of white gold males)

If your chick is over 18.. that is an immoral relationship right off the bat but you are too immature to realize it.

But when you are 30.. your wife will be younger than you and you will have a career of your own and you will be strong and independent.

I've seen that 1000000000x.

Almost every male i knew in college who dated someone older than them.... married someone their junior. (especially in the upperclass where I grew up).

People dont think its wrong. White culture gave the female version of the "dirty old man".. cuter words like "cougar" and "milf". Its how white culture functions. We always establish one group as the inferior poeple and another group the superior one. Cougar and boy toy is the superior relationship. Dirty old man and gold digger is the inferior one despite greater success.

Older woman younger male is the nazi and older male younger woman is the more successful jew.
Same parallel minus killing.

My dad made a successful marriage out of a 20+ year gap.. but the only person who ever gave him a nice word was my mom "sugar poppie". My sister coined it but my mom liked it and my dad thought it was cute. But everybody else in her family? "dirty old man". Period.
My grandma didnt accept him until she got sick and then suddenly realized what the perk of having a rich son in law is "life saving medical care money". suddenly he wasnt dirty old man anymore.
(except with my aunts and my middle class friends who couldnt relate to the upperclass lifestyle and the marriages that exist in the upperclass)

dont worry about what people think. Nobody hates older woman younger male couples. You arent the hated couple that i was raised by and its condescending for you to suggest you are.

But if you divorce her at 40 and take half her money and use it to attract hot 23 year old girls.. thats when society is going to hate you. Stick up for yourself then too. There is no such thing as a law abiding dirty old man.

Its ok for the upperclass to breed

christmas with a budget...any ideas?

chantal h

This year hasn't ben the best for me and my fiance'. we need ideas for cheap ideas for christmas presents. presents range from a little 2 year old gilr to a 40 year old woman.
please help if you have any ideas! greatly appreciated!

Answer
For the young children play dough. It is cheap and fun. You can also get together some old cookie cutters you have or buy a huge lot of them for very little money and give them a little gift bag with the play dough and cookie cutters.

If times are really tough you could make the playdough - just get a recipe online and add in something to make it really special such as a scent, or glitter, etc.

How about making those fleece blankets. The kinds where you cut the ends and tie the knots? You can get directions online easily too. They are always nice to have and cuddle up too.

Cracker Barrel has adorable Christmas ornaments for only a couple dollars.

A cool jar from the dollar store, filled with homemade cookies and a cheap ornament on top is a perfect gift. Wrap it up beautifully and you have a great present for just a small amount of money.

Good luck! SD

What kinds of generic gifts do men like?

I need some good gift ideas for men - stuff that any man would like. Just as you can almost always buy bath stuff for women or gift cert to clothes store, what kinds of generic gifts do men like? I'm talking men in the 40+ year old age range. I already have stuff like gift cert to home depot, microbrewery samples etc. Ok guys out there - what kind of generic gift would YOU like to receive? Please try to keep ideas in the $20-$50 range.

Answer
Cologne, nail care kit, pajama pants, gift card to Total Wine and More(or some other upscale alcohol beverage store). I think I would try to stay away from the gift card thing though because it seems like you put less thought into it. Most men love getting manicures even though they don't like to admit it. And pajamas are always a safe way to go and you can get a good brand for under 50 dollars. You can get a great nail care kit for under 50 dollars and every man is diligent about taking care of there nails. Good luck!

what are some good presents to make for someone who just got out of the hospital?

my friend has a disease called cystic fybrosis and she just got out of the hosital. I want to make her a homemade gift. any ideas?

Answer
Something bright and cheerful and a welcome home sign.. you can make the welcome sign yourself. and you can hang up some garlands and a card self made if you can.. with good wishes for her recovery.. and maybe get her some music to listen to.. or get her a book if you know what she likes.. as she may still feel a bit tired and weak and may need to rest a lot.. then it's nice to be able to listen to music or read a nice book...or a DVD if you know what kind of movies she likes to watch...apart from that you could make a variety of cookies and put them in a nice box....

you should make her homecoming an unforgettable day.. because tragically cystic fibrosis is a very dangerous lung disease.. kids are born with this disease.. it is congenital so it is present at birth....you are born with it.. and there is no cure for cystic fibrosis..it affects the lungs.. and the bad thing is.. in many cases .. people who suffer from this disease die in their 20's so your friend should have a very memorable homecoming.. and treat her as before she went to hospital.. don't mention the disease.. most people who have cystic fibrosis know that they don't have long to live.. they are feeling ok most of the time.. and at some point.. mainly or most often in their 20's there are about 3 weeks when they start to deteriorate and they don't have a lingering disease.. they die rather quickly.. within 3 weeks of getting worse. so she should have the best homecoming party you can think of.. and maybe some other friends can help out.. no tears please.. but it's that kind of disease that doesn't really show when in ones teens.. and when over 20.. in many cases it leads to death.. so she should have the time of her life now...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cystic_fibrosis

A young lady who has cystic fibrosis wrote this.. about her condition..

quote
Hi, My name is Norma Kennedy Plourde, and I live in Baker Lake, New Brunswick, Canada. I happen to have Cystic Fibrosis. My CF affects mostly my lungs and my digestive system. I get frequent respiratory infections, so I take antibiotics a lot, and my pancreas doesn't secrete enzymes, so I take pancreatic enzymes, plus a lot of other medications. I also happen to have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am a 46 y.o. woman, have been married for 26 years, and am fortunate enough to have a beautiful, healthy 24 year old daughter without CF. I am a Registered Nurse, and worked in a hospital setting for 9 years, but no longer work due to my illnesses. I would like to educate and inform as many people as I can about CF. It is a genetic disease that affects approximately 3,000 people in Canada, and 30,000 in the US, plus many more throughout the world. It is a disease that affects the exogenous secreting glands of the body, and generates thickened secretions, therefore blocking proper functioning of certain organs. The organs most affected are the lungs and pancreas, therefore affecting breathing and digestion, but certain other organs are affected also. There is no cure as of yet, but we hope there soon will be. Research is ongoing, and great strides are being made! Whereas 40 years ago, not many people with CF lived past childhood, nowadays many can live into their mid 30's or more. Unfortunately, many people with CF are still dying way too early. Please support CF research...that is our only hope. I hope that my site will help you to learn more about CF.

What are some unique, easy and fun games to play at a Bachelorette Party?

Answer
Thank You For The Great Question.

Bachelorette parties thrive off of really fun, really active games. Setup the wrong game and the bachelorette party becomes an afterthought of conversation. Setup the right games and the party becomes animated, loud, fun, and most of all memorable.

You can essentially break the set of games into two categories, being dirty & clean (In the figurative sense).

I have a couple of ideas for each, but if these arenât doing it for you, I would suggest you pick up the bestelling guide, Ladies Night Out
( http://www.sextoysshipped.com/books/ladies_night_out.html )

It Is a 104 page blueprint to the perfect bachelorette party.

Fairly Clean Game:

"I Neverâ¦"

All the guests sit in a circle or around a table. Each person will read a phrase starting with "I never". Anyone who has done this fiendish act must drink. The innocent women do not have to drink.

Here is an example: The Bachelorette says "I never kissed a man over 40 years old". This is followed by most of the moms in the crowd drinking.

Here is a list of "I nevers" to get you started. The game works even better if you make your own list.

"I never..."

o Cheated on a boyfriend
o Went skinny-dipping
o Have seen a male stripper (you might want to play this game early in the evening).
o Lied about my age.
o Lied about my weight.
o Lied about my height
o Stuffed my bra.
o Used food in the bedroom.
o Did a striptease for my steady.
o Had a striptease done for me.
o Had a one nigh stand.
o Used a sex toy.
o Wore a skirt without underwear.

More Risquee Game:

Pass The Vibrator:
This is a mix of musical chairs and hot potato but with a vibrator. Have everyone sit in a circle and close enough so they can pass the vibrator. Now turn on the vibrator and tell your guest that they must pass the vibrator while the music play and when the music stops the person holding the vibrator is out.

Continue this process until you have one winner. Give them a prize or the vibrator as a gift.

Well, I sure hope Iâve helped, and if not, look into picking up a guide which is full of the best ideas anywhere.

Thanks again for your great question

I need ideas on throwing a fun Bridal shower?

The Jessic

I am going to be the host of a bridal shower this year. Personally, I have been to about three total in my life. I was wondering if anyone had some fresh and fun ideas for throwing a really great bridal shower.

I know a large majority of people hate playing the same old shower games (I love them, but I'm a dork like that!), so some fun game ideas would be appreciated also.

Thanks!

Answer
This past summer I was the MOH in my best friends wedding, I threw her a shower and actually not only got a thank you note from the bride, and both mothers, but I got thank yous from the guests as well.

Here was my game plan

1. Get a scrap book and have a polaroid camera. Take pictures of everyone as they come in and tape each picture to a page have each person write a note to the bride. 1 per page. Its a great memory book for the bride

2. Get some photos of the bride and groom together and blow them up to 8x10, go to the 99 cent shop and get some frames that match and put the photos out on a table, preferably with the cake and a nice bouquet of flowers. This allows people who dont know either the bride or groom well to see them together

3. Games: Have a timer and set it for 10 minutes during the girt opening. Each time it goes off the person who's gift she is opening gets a prize (dollar store prizes are the best, recipe cards, candles, photo albums etc)

Have a complete the pharse questionaire to be filled out by each guest, give the same questionaire to the bride and have her fill it out before hand. See how many of the guests answers match the brides Examples Flower ______, Brides ______, Holy______

4. Get centerpieces/bouquets from the grocery store florist. They will be beautiful and CHEAP.

5. Toasts: Make it a really good one. Write about your most favorite memory with the bride. Mine was about the night before my wedding when I let my BF the bride cut my hair, it had people rolling it was so funny, but it tied in really nicely that the whole point of the story was how wonderful a friend she was that I would LET her cut my hair the night before my wedding.

6. Favors: Go to www.wrappedhersheys.com and get WRAPPERS ONLY for hershey bars. They cost 99 cents each if you dont choose a photo one. Then go to your local wholesale club and buy a box and wrap the candy bars yourself. I did this all by myself and was able to wrap all 40 bars in under an hour. (note: Invest in a glue stick)

Most importantly, it isnt the moey you spend, believe me because I dont have alot and I pretty much funded the whole event on my own. Its the personal touches you make. Get creative but most of all make the shower your way to show everyone how much you love your friend. Make your appreciation for her shine through in every aspect of the day.

Have a great time and Good luck!

ETA:I forgot the best part of the day. AFter all the gifts were opened we played the "Old New Borrowed and Blue" game. Have her fiance purchase her a gift, usually jewelry, and wrap it up 5 times. With each layer put a tag saying who should open it, the first being a woman wearing something old, then new, then borrowed then blue, the last layer is to be opened by the woman who will soon be needing something old, new, borrowed and blue ie the bride and it will be a wonderful gift from her furture husband.
