Q. My fiance' is in the military so I left my house empty and moved to my mom's because I'm having a high risk pregnancy. I have 2 boys terrible 2 and a 5 year old. My mother makes sure my son gets picked up and dropped off at school, cleans, and any other thing you could think of to help.

I want to get my mother something special for the holidays because she's been so helpful to me. I usually just buy her a necklace but, this year I want to get her something more meaningful.

I might suggest a massage...Many day spa's offer pregnancy massages, which (a) allow her to relax in a way that doesn't interfere with her belly, and (b) will help to relax the muscles that get really sore when a woman is pregnant.

Alternately, there's always the things that the rest of us want, even when we're not pregnant...Diamonds or pearls are always nice! :)

What is a cute way to announce a pregnancy to your parents and in-laws?

Q. My sister just told me she is pregnant with her first baby and she wants a cute way to tell our parents and her in-laws. This will be a first grandchild for her in-laws. She is going to wait until Christmas to tell them. I think she is looking for a way to wrap it as a gift. Any ideas?

A. Get her to wrap baby items for them all and sneak them under the christmas tree and see how long it takes them to work out who gave them the baby gift and why
