Gift Idea?? For a best guy friend?

So, there's this guy ( of course.. ) except its not what you think. We are absolutely just best friends. We met three years ago when I transferred to his high school. We used to be inseparable, but recently we have grown apart. However we are still friends, but just not as close and we tend to fight (we never used to fight). But, he has helped me so so much throughout these three years with so many personal problems. He has especially helped me this year though through a lot of personal issues and he always helped me through everything, no matter when or where. And, I have to go to his graduation party next week, and I need a good gift idea.(we won't be attending the same college). And I was thinking like a gift card.. but then I thought a really personal and creative gift would be even better. I was thinking like maybe a long letter on why I appreciate him or like a little scrapbook or something.. but I'm not sure!

Can you please help me think of something that shows how much I appreciate him and love him (as a brother)?

your idea of the letter and scrap book is really nice.
It really comes from the heart and it's very personal.
It shows all the memories you shared and how
special your friendship is. I think you have a great
idea and I'd go with that. Just do both a nice letter
and the scrapbook. You really can't go wrong with a gift
from the heart. It will also be a reminder to him of your
time together as friends and all the time you shared together.

Umm, skip the pink stuff. Just 'cause it's a favorite color doesn't mean that all gifts have to be that color. Would you or your bf drive a pink car or live in a pink house? Probably not. Go to Spencer's at your local mall and get him a belt with one of those big a$$ buckles. Or buy him the belt part and get him a gift card for the buckle. Guys love that kind of junk, but it's easier to tell their dude friends that their gf picked it out for them and that's why they wear it, instead of admitting that they picked it out themselves. Belt buckles are super cool. But no pink belts. Just a nice chunky black belt. And worse than pink, no white belts. Unless he drive's an ice cream truck or marches in a band.

In a few months I am going to be shipped off to training for the army and my best friend is going to be lost without me. Before I leave, I want to get him something that will help him not only remember me, but to show him that ill always be there for him. We are together every day and to go from constantly seeing each other, tonight even being able to talk on the phone is going to be huge change for him.I need ideas for the perfect gift so that he knows I will always be his best friend. Congratulations on making such a life-changing decision to join the Army!
My boyfriend almost went to the Marines but decided against it later on so for a while I was sort of in your position. Is there something you're talented at such as art, playing an instrument, sewing, etc? If you are, I encourage you to create something that resembles your guys' friendship or create something that he will really like. That way, he can pull it out whenever he's thinking about you and remember all the good times you two have shared. I enjoy writing and recently wrote a short letter to my friend who was having a difficult time with her relationship and she loved it.

If you don't like these ideas, try making a scrapbook filled with pictures, funny things you two have said, fun stickers, and anything else that you guys have done together. As long as you making it meaningful, there's no wrong way of going about this way of saying "I'll always love you, buddy!"

Okay, my best guy friend's birthday is coming up in a week. I won't be in town on his birthday because I'm going to the beach. Any cheap gift ideas to get him? He's turning 15, and I don't want to spend more than $15 on his present. Should I get him something at the beach? I don't think he would wear like a shark tooth/shell necklace. He plays football and is a typical guy.

Christmas gift ideas for a guy returning to Iraq?

Hi, I'm looking for Christmas gift ideas for a guy (we're close friends) who is leaving for Iraq right after the holidays. I was thinking of giving him a digital photo frame. Any other great ideas out there? Thanks!

He really can't take too much with him, so you may want to give him some small stuff that he can carry and wait to send him anything big like a digital photo frame in a care package.

My son deployed this past June and he sent everything personal that he owned home with me when he cleared out his room. Anything that he wanted to take with him to Iraq had to be approved by his sgt. before packing. I have gradually sent him a few of his things in care packages. One thing that he really likes to get are games he can play on his laptop (he bought that once he was there, and will send it home before he returns).

Some things that he asked for immediately were a small state flag (we live in Texas), fingernail clippers, disposable razors, batteries and snacks.

If your friend is religious a good gift would be a St. Christopher medal. You could have it blessed. An electric razor is also good. Or an electric toothbrush -- anything small and transportable that helps with personal grooming.
