Nah we're not married. We don't live together either. Hmm the lion king won't be playing anymore come early November.. we usually do go out to eat on our anniversary anyway so I was thinking more along the lines of a gift rather than paying for the meal

A. A special gift has to be totally unique so am thinking of a nice handcrafted wooden accessory box. I gave my bro a MarqART accessory box for his birthday a few months ago and he says he doesn't know how he managed his things before that. He now keeps all his stuff in it .. like coin collections, keys, mobile, etc and says he hasn't lost anything in a while .. earlier he was constantly looking for stuff!

A. He probably has other interests you could explore. There is also any software he might want. Sometimes when I'm really stuck, I go into unusual stores and see if there is anything interesting for the person I'm shopping for.
Additionally I'll use Internet shopping sites to see what randomly comes up, sometimes you'll be surprised by what's there. If you have any artistic talent you can paint him a painting. Or you could have a local artist paint the two. For that one just design your own gift certificate with the announcement on it.
If he wears any jewelry you could get him a gold bracelet or necklace. Custom jewelers can make a special necklace for you. These should get you started, even if you don't use any of them!

Q. Tomorrow is my father's 5th year anniversary of his heart transplant. My family wants to get him a small gift for it. I know its really last minute, but we need to figure this out. We wanted it to be something sort of representative of the heart transplant and it saving his life or something along those lines. But, I can't think of anything. Any ideas quick??? I need them!!!
