I need a gift idea for a 17 year old boy. He's my best friend's son and he was just awarded Rookie of the Year at his local fire house where he is a volunteer. He's into computers, science type things, tv mystery type shows, and, obviously, fire fighting. Any ideas would be way helpful. I'll be seeing him this weekend. Somewhere in the $30 - $50 range. It is fairly new. It came out last year in June.

It is like "Planet Earth" in that it is a grand production by the BBC.
I got it at a local library and watched it all the way through over the course of a week.

It is in your price range with rush shipping.

It is 2 disks. It is not as big as "Planet Earth".
It goes through how the Earth's processes changed history. It deals with different topics. No animal stories like "Planet Earth". These shows cover things like geology and other scientific topics.
There is a section on FIRE.

I need gift ideas for boys who love spiderman?

I'm Christmas shopping online, and all that I have left are a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old boy. They both love spiderman and all of the characters associated with him. I want some good gift ideas that would make their Christmas special. They already have the costumes, and I would like to stay away from the "toy" thing (they have plenty of spiderman toys). I plan to spend between 50 and 60 dollars on each child, and get them at least two gifts. Any ideas?

I'm looking for gift ideas for my ten year old nephew. He is mostly interested in video games, but I'd rather not get him another game. He doesn't like sports, but he seems to have some interest in science. He also really likes technology, such as cell phones, computers, etc.

Every year, when I ask his parents what to get him, they tell me the name of a specific video game or request a gift card for a video game. I'd really like to find something a little more original, that would still be fun. Any ideas?
