Corporate Apology Gift Ideas?

One of our clients is really upset with us now due to a big "oops" by someone in our company. We want to send the client an apology gift. It's actually for the client and his seven colleagues. We're looking to spend about $150-$200. Any ideas as to what kind of gift in that price range could help smooth over this situation?

I wouldn't give a gift of any kind. I think that sends a message that you think your clients are easily "bought." If a firm working for me did that, I would be insulted.

A very, VERY sincere apology from the boss, and assurances that it will never happen again, are what I would want. People make mistakes; it's a part of life. What's important is that we learn from our mistakes and try not to do them again.

Q. We are having an office Christmas party and gift exchange with a $10 limit. Any ideas for creative wrapping or a memorable gift idea? It's a very conservative office, but they love creative gifts. Please help!! I really don't want my gift to be the last, lonely one in the pile again this year.

When I used to work corporate, we did a secret santa. We hung stockings around the office in our dept. and planted little gifts in them throughout the month.. then we had a holiday luncheon and gave our person their gift.. costing under $20. It was so much fun getting things in the stocking..

His price range is $100 to $150 each. The present needs to be the same thing and unisex (something men and women would enjoy). My boss doesn't want any type of clothing to give them. He doesn't want to give them a briefcase, computer case, watch, portable dvd player, GPS unit, and digital photo grame, to name a few, we looked over.

I looked up on the internet "corporate gifts' and 'holiday gifts' but even corporate gifts are horrible trophies or pens, or desk accessories, yuk.

Does anyone have any ideas???? His department head managers are between the ages of 35 and 60 years old.
