My mother-in-law and I get along like peas and carrots. She is absolutely amazing and goes out of her way to help her son and me out. I'd like to buy her a gift to show her my appreciation, but I'm at a loss for ideas! Help!

every year i find it difficult to find the right gift for her. i don't want something too christian like a bible, a cross to hang on the wall etc you know. but instead i want something unique and special that shows my appreciation both as my mother in law and pastor's wife. any ideas?

Maybe you should go visit your local Christian bookstore and see what they have that catches your eye. Does she like to read? Maybe you could get her a book - one that's on the best seller list right now. Does she drink coffee? Maybe a nice coffee mug - you could fill it full of little things or make her a gift basket with a mug and a book and some pens, bookmarkers, etc. (with a little candy - maybe some chocolate!) You could add some hand lotion and just some little inexpensive nick-nacks to fill the basket up.
