I have a Salvation Army Angel Tree, and the person I am supposed to buy gifts for is an 8 year old African-American boy. What should I get him? And please no racial comments. Answer with the most good ideas wins best answer. Thanks alot!

Football, baseball glove, basketball (any kind of ball, really), gift certificate at Foot Locker, anything he can build stuff with, video games, DVD of a cool movie, CD player.

Nothing too expensive please.Just a Small gift as a kind gesture. For Instance, if it is a girl, I would probably get her Stickers or cute stationary sets.
Any ideas as for boys?

Baseball cards, Star War cards, a pkg. of 3 hot wheel cars(you can get at Dollar General ) for a $1.00, he might like stickers too, but for a boy,like(sports),motorcycles, cars,etc.You can get all of the above at Dollar General, and it won't cost that much.
