Any good gift ideas for a 6 year old boy?

Q. One of the boys I teach in sunday school has been really sick. Now they've found out his kidneys are shutting down. I'm trying to think of a gift he would like. Any ideas?

A. I have twins who are 5 year old boys. They love sitting in their rooms and playing video games on a nintendo or watching movies. If he is in the hospital he will be in bed all day. Even if he isn't he should be resting. I would get him a few nice movies of things he would find interesting. You could get him a nice book to read. Also anything artsy and craftsy would be nice for him to do. Like a biblical project. I would suggest getting him any small thing that he can do in his bed. If he likes listening to music you could do a fundraiser at the church and save up money for this little boy for an MP3 player or an I-pod and than put some biblical songs/favorite songs of his on it. He would enjoy that. There are a lot of things you can get and I hope my answer covered it ;) good luck

Find things she is interested in.If it is skateboarding,a new skateboard.Basketball,basketball items.Music?An electric guitar and amp or a keyboard.My daughter is more like a boy than a girl sometimes....she hates the makeup,detests dresses,and it is extremely hard to convince her to fix her hair.However,she loves cooking,drawing,anime,and penguins.So,she is getting the movie animatrix,she is getting a huge stuffed penguin,penguin potholders,and sketching supplies.Find her interests and go off that.

What do I buy for a double birthday party?

Q. I'm going to a birthday party for a 6 year old and a 4 year old. I was looking to buy one gift for the both of them. Does anybody have any ideas of what to buy them? The oldest one is a girl and the younger a boy.

A. A board game they can play together (or chess or checkers or somethig like Connect Four..kids love that game); a tent; any sporting equipment (ball & bat, badmitton set); a video game if they're into those; art supplies (paint, paper, clay, colored pencils, markers); two disposable cameras and a photo album; a DVD of a good kids' movie, complete with a basket containing popcorn, candy (for movie nite); a music CD; a restaurant gift certificate.
